We have a few more class changes coming to the Rise of Azshara PTR. We made the initial changes and the following will be active on the PTR soon.

Vengeance

  • Metamorphosis Metamorphosis
    • Health bonus 50% (from 30%)
    • Now causes Shear to generate 20 additional Pain and 1 additional Lesser Soul Fragment (was: generates 7 Pain per second).
      • Developers’ Note: This significantly increases the self-healing potential of Metamorphosis, as well as the health buffer, making it a more reliable major cooldown against all types of damage.

Guardian

Frost Death Knight

  • Runic Empowerment Runic Empowerment has a 2.0% chance to proc per Runic Power spent (from 1.5%)
  • Frost Fever Frost Fever ’s chance to generate Runic Power increased to 30%
    • Chance now diminishes on targets beyond the first
  • Breath of Sindragosa Breath of Sindragosa now has double the usual chance to proc Runic Empowerment
  • Breath of Sindragosa Breath of Sindragosa costs 18 Runic Power/sec (from 15)
    • Developers’ Note: Frost was starved of resources too often, especially when using Breath of Sindragosa. This increases Frosts’s Rune income baseline and includes a further change that returns many extra Runes while using Breath of Sindragosa. Breath builds will now be able to fill more global cooldowns with casts of Obliterate, to make up for the lost Frost Strikes. The cost of Breath itself is increased to keep its overall duration roughly unchanged.

i know downtime is even mentioned on the Frost DK discord as a major ... side effect?  of the playstyle.

but instead of making an already numerically cemented 'best dps talent' more fun to play it' be nice if they'd at least ATTEMPT to bring the other two into usefulness, rather than improving the already-king-of-the-hill.

100% agree that they needed to make the other talents more viable first. I also feel like allowing frost to use 2 handers again would be a decent step in making Obliteration a more viable choice as well as Inexorable Assault.

We have our 100 Mythic Crucible of Storms Horde champion guilds already! The Hall of Fame for the red faction is now closed with the guilds that managed to get in being set in stone, with a few more getting the Cutting Edge: Uu'nat, Harbinger of the Void achievement, as it remained available until the end of this last reset. So if you're looking for the achievement or the "Famed Slayer of the Harbinger" title, you'll have to try on the Alliance side of things, where there's 88 slots left! Once the remaining Alliance guilds down Mythic Uu'nat, cross-realm Mythic will be enabled, but at this rate it's going to be a bit tight to reach that 100 number, as the Hall of Fame will close when the next raid, Azshara's Eternal Palace, opens. Cross-realm Mythic will also be enabled at that time, even if there aren't 100 Alliance guilds done with Mythic Crucible at that point.

In any case, check out the full Horde Hall of Fame entry here.

We have some new info on the change to how grouped players with their XP off function in 8.2, a change which was implemented to curtail players leveling much faster with an XP off person (usually a Demon Hunter in Island Expeditions or Freehold) in the group.

Blizzard clarified that this change is only aimed at pre-made groups, aka groups where players have been invited directly, not via the matchmaker.
      XP Boost (source)
I don’t want my XP to be 5% because some random troll que’d up on twink char and joined our group.

      This won’t happen.
The change only affects groups that manually invite player characters who have XP off. There is no impact on players who find themselves automatically grouped by the matchmaker while doing PvP or Group Finder dungeons.
This change also doesn’t affect anyone who has turned off XP for their own benefit, such as plundering old raids while keeping their level low enough to use their Aggramar’s Stride boots.
      Here's the aura in question:

WarcraftSecrets have spotted an interesting new aura on 8.2 PTR which reduces Experience gains from quests and kills by 95%, while someone in your party has disabled XP.
Placeholder for tweet 1140393688272723969 Experience Eliminated - You've taken a vow of experience elimination and are unable to gain experience. There may be someone out there that can help you remove this...
In the next tweet they clarified this mainly affects Demon Hunter boosting in Freehold and Island Expeditions and they hurry players to boost their characters before Patch 8.2 goes live which is rumored to happen June 25th.
