Crucible of Storms Race: The Top 10

We're bringing our Crucible of Storms Mythic race coverage to an end as we've hit the top 10 yesterday. While the raid was supposed to be a short one, it's turned out much harder than Battle of Dazar'alor - whether it's because some guilds put less effort into or or not we can't really say, but Uu'nat is certainly harder than Jaina, and it seems significantly so. First off, let's take a look at Method's multi-PoV video:

It's been almost a week since our last update and we have only 8 more guilds crossing the finish line.
This raid brought us a lot of firsts, with the biggest one being the new overall champion Pieces, but we also got a new US No.1 later on, with Club Camel taking the American throne, as well as the Alliance overall first. Of the 11 guilds that have downed Uu'nat so far, we have 5 Asian, 5 EU and 1 US/OC.
Here are the final standings:

  Guild Region
1. Pieces EU
2. Method EU
3. Alpha China
4. Jitianhong China
5. Chao Jie China
6. AFK R Korea
7. Skyline China
8. Aversion EU
9. Club Camel US
10. Exorsus EU

It's been a really great race, showing that there's more to just Method dominating the proceedings, with not only Pieces breaking out, but also Club Camel in the US, and a whole lot of Asia guilds overall. This really bodes well for Azshara's Eternal Palace in 8.2, especially if the devs manage to make it more than  just a 1 boss race, so that everyone can catch up and the US and EU advantages aren't as big. Will Method come back to the top? Will we get the first Asian raid win since Cataclysm and Dragon Soul, or the first US win since MoP and Heart of Fear? I'm really looking forward to the next raid race to find out!

DesMephisto is back (or, more accurately, he never left, as he constantly strives to improve his leveling speeds), and he's gotten his speed record for 10-50 Shadowlands leveling significantly down from his last attempt! 3 hours and 56 minutes (or 3 h 37 min, if you remove the "screwing around" parts) is all it took to get to the equivalent of today's level 120, using Chromie time in Warlords of Draenor, beating the previous best we reported by over an hour and a half.

Now, it's important to mention that Blizzard have stated in interviews that the current XP rates and leveling speeds on Alpha aren't final and are very rough at the moment, but it's till great to see players going for these speed records nonetheless.
And here's the last minute or so of the leveling process, and you can check out the whole thing below as well:

You can also check out our recent interview with the man himself, where he goes into all the many recent achievements he's had, from the 46 max level warriors, to the speed leveling, Autism charity, Guinness World Record and more.

Method ran Ny'alotha on Heroic difficulty with a raid comprised of 29 Mages and one Demon Hunter, and while they downed all the bosses including N'Zoth, the clear highlight is Dresta'gath that has been defeated in just 22 seconds.
You can watch the Pyroblast shower and Dresta'gath's decreasing health bar in the following video:

3D Artist Dronmo has created a jungle in Unreal Engine 4 inspired by Stranglethorn Vale.
Here's a comparison of the Stranglethorn Vale in World of Warcraft and the recreated version of the zone in Unreal Engine 4 taken from ArtStation.

Here's another comparison of the zone.

The artist teamed up with his friend, a guitar virtuoso, who produced ambient relaxing music for the video.
