Oltier 471 Report post Posted January 15, 2014 this question goes to damien and oltier, since it seem to be pretty tricky, usually i read a lot and take my own conclusions but i am lost here... so the question is: i have the 4p bonus with my frost mage at the moment (head shoulders and hands are 561 and chest 574) yesterday i've got the shoulderpads of dou dou chong heroic, and i'm wondering if its best to use them and gain, after reforging and geming, like 6% mastery and loose the 4p bonus? armory link: http://us.battle.net...ffield/advanced new item: http://www.wowhead.com/item=104445 p.s.: sorry for my english Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Oltier 471 Report post Posted January 15, 2014 Since you already have some Normal/HC Warforged pieces, you are better off of dropping the 4pc bonus and equip the shoulders, also upgrading them. With your current gear, you could easily reach 14242 haste, which is the soft cap for the Mixture build frost mages, you should that at least. You could go full haste even beyond that, but it is only adviced to exceptional frost mages. Another quick note, you should switch to Temporal Shield for raiding. Ice Barrier currently is a DPS loss.
