Blizzard have clarified that they will in fact be implementing quest tracking features into WoTLK Classic, despite developer comments in an interview with Game Rant. They did not mention when the features would arrive, but they are in active development.
Quest Tracking (Source)
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to pop in and say that we do in fact intend to implement the quest tracking features that were added in patch 3.3 of original Wrath of the Lich King into the Quest Log and Map UI at some point. The interviews linked by the OP were a few months old and our thinking has changed quite a bit on this since then.
This feature isn’t present on the Wrath of the Lich King beta at this time, but this along with several other UI features such as the Calendar and Equipment Manager are still in active development.
Thanks for all the feedback around this!

Check out our preview of the Group Finder feature coming in Wrath of the Lich King Classic!
You can bring up the Group Finder by pressing "I". The Group Finder has two tabs. The first tab's called "My Interests". It allows you to select from various types of content and list yourself with a role.
The second tab is the "Group Browser", which lets you browse and apply for groups based on various criteria. These include Dungeons, Heroic Dungeons, Raids, Quests & Zones, PvP, and Custom.

Here's a really cool accomplishment, as Polar have taken down Void, aka hard mode 4 in Season of Mastery's version of Ahn'Qiraj. Added as an additional challenge, the four difficulties are unlockable at various reputation levels with the Brood of Nozdormu, with the final one coming in at exalted. Each boss has additional mechanics for each difficulty added, with C'thun basically joining the fight with all 4 active, adding all three tentacle types AND his eye beam, with the big round fellow appearing as well.
You can see all the added difficulty changes for each boss in the video below, and it has a pretty solid intro as well! Thanks to Japfapp for sharing it over on the WoW Classic reddit.
In case you wanted to see the logs for the clear, you can do so here.

It seems another wave of invites for the WotLK Classic beta have gone out, as players are reporting receiving access a little earlier today. It also seems there aren't any mails sent out to notify players of their beta access, or at least they aren't arriving as fast as the invites themselves, as the game just shows up as an option on the Battle.net launcher. It seems a fair amount of those invited were active in Burning Crusade Classic, as sethers656 reported 10 players in their guild getting in, although some that don't even play Classic at all also received an invite.
Source.
So check your WoW section of Battle.net and see if you managed to get in as well.

Blizzard have teased the new features coming to Naxxramas in Season of Mastery, with a mysterious new NPC that will provide some wares for players, which will have "a significant impact" both inside and perhaps even outside the raid. We don't get any specifics, but it sounds interesting and related to the increased challenges like we've seen in Ahn'Qiraj already.

Hi All,
Wanted to pop in and provide a bit of clarification on what is new for Naxxramas in the SoM PTR. I don’t want to fully spoil all the things but wanted to at least give you some info to get you rolling.
The main thing to watch out for in Naxx is new quests offered by Archmage Tarsis Kir-Moldir near the entrance between the spider and plague quarters:
Most of the new things in Naxxramas become available as you progress through his quests and gain access to the various wares he offers.
Due to the nature of the encounters in Naxxramas, you will not find mechanical changes to the fights themselves (at least not in this round of PTR testing), but as you progress through Naxxramas and discover more of what the Archmage offers, you will discover more than a few new surprises that could have a significant impact inside (and potentially outside!) the raid, including a few special surprises based on how you approach the raid and make use of what Archmage Tarsis provides.
Overall we don’t want to say too much here as there are a few hidden surprises that we want to let players discover on their own, but did want to provide a little bit of a hint to get you started. As always, let us know at [email protected] if you are planning to take your group onto the PTR and test. If you let us know when you are testing, we are able to make it, we’d love to hop on and observe your raid group.
Thanks!
