Ny'alotha Raid Entrance Moved to Pandaria

Recommended Posts

MgoPGm7.jpg

In this week's 8.3 PTR build, Blizzard moved the raid entrance of Ny'alotha, the Waking City, from Uldum to Pandaria's Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

Check out our Patch 8.3 Hub for the latest Visions of N'Zoth info!

UPDATE: Given that the raid entrance is literally a floating game object with a portal, rumor has it that the raid entrance will be up depending on the zone being assaulted by N'Zoth's forces (either Vale or Uldum). We can't confirm this at this time, because based on yesterday's testing, it was up in Pandaria, not Uldum, even though both zones had Assaults up.

The raid entrance was previously located in Uldum, which was likely a placeholder.

In the latest 8.3 PTR build it has been relocated to Vale of Eternal Blossoms, near Whitepetal Lake.

Here's the map location of the raid entrance in Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

????

Why would it be there?   That was the territory of the Old God Aman'Thul killed in ancient times isn't it?

I remember reading that the raid entrance will alternate between the Vale and Uldum depending on which invasion is active, which sounds awfully annoying.

So they fix the Vale only to drop a steaming purple grumpy right in the middle of the zone.

Looks like it's mostly restored, except for Mogu statues. That entrance and those objects will only be there when invasion is ongoing, so it should alternate between the Vale and Uldum. Without invasion, we should have fully cleansed Vale.

Still though, a lot of things from this expansion feel like MoP and Cata (especially if ending from PTR will stay).

lol definitely not Garrosh 2.0 expansion has its final raid entrance in the same place as the Garrosh raid entrance... Are they trolling?

It has nothing to do with Garrosh, are you trolling?

I thought that the raid entrance changes depending on where the invasion currently is?

Me too, but yesterday, I was ported to Pandaria when exiting the raid, not Uldum and both zones have permanently up assaults. The raid entrance icon is also found on the Vale map, not Uldum.

Ok its not Garrosh 2.0, that concept lies in the story of a corrupt warchief  ending up as the final raid boss of the expansion, which Sylvanas is not. Location aside, because thats a weak point of your argument. The raid environment, the bosses, the circumstances surrounding the raid have absolutely nothing to do with Garrosh, therefore no it is not Garrosh 2.0

Still kind of missing the point. Not complaining or making an argument that it IS Garrosh 2.0. Just saying that people have been saying the whole expansion that its a repeat of the Garrosh Pandaria storyline, and it seems like putting the raid entrance basically within view of the Siege of Orgrimmar raid entrance could be an intentional troll response to that. It's exactly the kind of thing a smarmy MMO dev would do with a *filtered*-eating grin on their face.

Reddit user Bonelord911 tried to organize all specializations by their alignment to the cosmology chart and here's the result!
There's just one slight inconsistency as ItisCaleb and Evonyte pointed out. Monks should be at Spirit, close to reality, since the Chi is a Spirit element according to the Chronicles.

The individual items that comprise the Dark Ranger General's transmog set have been added in the latest Patch 10.2.5 build. The armor set allows players to resemble Sylvanas Windrunner.
Hunters will probably be happy with the addition of the Dark Ranger General's armor set! Here's a preview of the set. At this time, the source of the ensemble remains unknown. It is possibly tied to the Gilnean Reclamation or Trading Post, we'll see.

Blizzard added a new Night Elf child model in this week's Patch 10.2.5 build.
The model is used NPCs that have moved to Bel'ameth and Belanaar harbor, as indicated in the latest development notes.

      BEL’AMETH
Many Night Elves are now starting to arrive in Bel’ameth and Belanaar harbor to settle in their new homes. In addition to these new hubs, explore other areas across the island to find new night elf cosmetic treasures. Here's a detailed look at the new model. The model looks a bit creepy and the feet are somewhat low texture. Hopefully this will get fixed in a future build.

For more details about the new Night Elf home, check the detailed zone preview by MrGM. Did you know Bel'ameth is a neutral city? Even Horde players can enter!

This week's Patch 10.2.5 build brought an updated map of Amirdrassil.
We're talking about the non-phased Amirdrassil zone available to everyone in the latest update. For comparison, here's the old map from the previous PTR build.

And here's the updated map from this week's Patch 10.2.5 build. Bel'ameth has been marked on the map along with other areas like Belanaar port.

Amirdrassil has also been added to the world map in the previous PTR build.

The new Night Elf home Bel'aneth added in Patch 10.2.5 is a neutral city. However, Horde players who enter the city will see a debuff informing them that they are being watched.
The debuff's name is Eyes of the Sentinels and the tooltip reads: Seen and unseen eyes alike are watching your every move.
