wow War Mode Bonus from 8.3 Daily Quests Removed Temporarily

As some players have already noticed, we got confirmation today that War Mode bonuses for Visions of N'Zoth daily quests have been disabled since Thursday. This was done due to a separate issue that will hopefully be resolved in the coming days, when the bonus will be restored.

We’d like to confirm that, yes, the expected War Mode bonus for Visions of N’Zoth Daily Quests has been disabled since Thursday.

This was necessary for our team to work to quickly fix a different issue. Our top priority right now is addressing these concerns, and we expect to restore all intended functionality in the coming days.

War Mode and the bonuses granted by War Mode in all other content are unaffected.

Hmmm, i wonder if this *problem* was players getting too much of a reward for it in that specific update and since its new, they want them to take longer to get high up and so on, so they are seeing if they can lower it to a point where it takes mind-numbingly long to get without it ticking off the players to the point that they stop playing.

Yeah that isn't the only thing that is messed up this week. I did a horrific vision, loot the big chest at the end, loot window comes up. NO LOOT. Leave the vision area back to the chamber of the heart, still not loot. And to make things even more fun the vessel that I had bought to do a second one..... GONE. Even put a ticket in. Blizzards answer, well that sucks. We ain't gonna do squat about it though.

Well they failed there. After two days of quests to "kill 4 rares" I don't feel like logging in.

Many people might have been "abusing" it beyond what Blizz was intending.

I'm not sure how? WM bonus only affects the dailies, and not the vision itself, and at 10k a pop for the vessel, dailies alone won't cover it even with WM. Or am I missing something?

I'm still on an opinion they should simply remove all bonuses to war mode. It shouldn't affect pve, so only those who want to do pvp, would turn it on. There is huge imbalance, doesn't seem like they've even got any solution, as obviously people simply keep piling up on a more populated faction. Besides, some of those new quests have been very buggy.

The point of the war mode bonus is to compensate for it taking you longer to complete the quests due to PvPing. Not so people who don't wanna PvP will be forced to turn it on for higher rewards. It's not complicated. If you want to PvP, turn it on. If you don't want to PvP, don't turn it on.

Not exactly, Horde has basically no risk in entering war mode, because they've got the numbers, so they do benefit from their basic war mode bonus without any offset. Most of these people do not want to pvp, they are just turning it on for resource bonus, for pve reasons. Meanwhile, people on Alliance characters are turning it off, because you usually barely see any of them. And this continues, without any solution in sight (other than dividing players into equal groups, rather than factions), so at one point one faction won't see any enemies to kill, it will only get harder to do any world pvp content that requires player participation.
