Save your Totems!

Recommended Posts

So I had posted this in another thread as a question and example, but finally had a chance to test it and so far am loving it.  I got 2 from the wow forums and adpated them for other applications.  These are macros to prevent you from over writing another totem you have down.  While watching your timers is great, this makes for one less thing to worry about.

Healing Stream Totem:

#showtooltip Healing Stream Totem
/targetenemy [noexists][noharm]
/cleartarget [noharm]
/tar Healing Tide Totem
/tar Mana Tide Totem
/cast [harm][noexists][mod:shift]Healing Stream Totem
/targetlasttarget [help]

Checks for both HTT and MTT before dropping HST, if either are up, it will not drop it.  If you are using Totemic Persistance, you would hold down the shift key to make the macro ignore if one of those was down already and you were dropping HST second.

Magma Totem:

#showtooltip Magma Totem
/targetenemy [noexists][noharm]
/cleartarget [noharm]
/tar Fire Elemental Totem
/cast [harm][noexists][mod:shift]Magma Totem
/targetlasttarget [help]

Prevents overwriting Fire Elemental with Magma Totem. Shift ignores and places Magma.

Searing Totem:

#showtooltip Searing Totem
/targetenemy [noexists][noharm]
/cleartarget [noharm]
/tar Fire Elemental Totem
/cast [harm][noexists][mod:shift]Searing Totem
/targetlasttarget [help]

Prevents overwriting Fire Elemental with Searing Totem. Shift ignores and places Searing.

Try them out, let me know what you think or suggestions you have.

Cheers!

Thanks for this! this will help out a lot of people. I will for sure be putting the fire one on my bars as I tend to put searing down before my fire monster leaves. +rep
