Reddit user Generalian has posted a cool desktop wallpaper with villains from all WoW expansions on Reddit.

Villain does not necessarily mean the last boss of an expansion, it's more like the mastermind behind most of it, I'm guessing.

You have Gul'dan for WoD even though Archimonde was the final boss. For TBC there's Illidan, even though Kil'jaeden was the final boss, Sargeras / Argus...

That confused me a little, too. You could say Ragnaros was the more iconic boss from vanilla, but then that makes the choice of Gul'dan instead of Hellscream rather curious. And then there's Sargaras, who we didn't actually fight at all. 

N'zoth's a bit of a weird one. I feel like he should be Sylvanas. Then again, I don't. 

He really needs a bit of enhancing to fit alongside the others, though.

Changed N'zoth to fit in a little better, because it was bugging me. Also a few of the others, because I like contrast more than I should.

I have to say, the more I look at this the more I like it. He used the colours really well.

It feels kind of weird to have Garrosh as the icon for MoP since he was a faction leader for most of the expansion and was more of a mastermind for the events of WoD. But I guess there's really not many other good options that could go there. Really weird expansion format all in all.

This was exactly the same thought I had immediatly after seeing this. N'zoth really sticks out as the weird one out (probably since he's the only one without 'normal' facial features). I thought Sylvanas would be better too, but we didn't really fight her straight on so it feels bad. Maybe still Sylvanas for the same reason as Sargeras: Being the one responsible for all the chaos happening in that expansion, even if you don't fight him/her straight on?
