3D Artist Dronmo has created a jungle in Unreal Engine 4 inspired by Stranglethorn Vale.
Here's a comparison of the Stranglethorn Vale in World of Warcraft and the recreated version of the zone in Unreal Engine 4 taken from ArtStation.

Here's another comparison of the zone.

Game Director Ion Hazzikostas tweeted about why Blizzard ended up allowing Blood/Void Elves to have blue eyes, even though he said they were only intended for NPCs in the Zoltan Interview a while back.
Earlier this week, we looked at new Blood Elf/Void Elf customization options coming in the Shadowlands expansion, and much to our surprise, they included new blue eye color options, allowing players to technically become High Elves in the game.

Game Director Ion Hazzikostas replied in a tweet that they had a conversation with the team about new customization options and the recent blog is what they ended up with.

I think @WatcherDev honestly knew for a while about the eye change options coming and still said it was NPCs only just to get a bit more of a laugh about it. I can say Id for sure do the same thing. Good that player agency is a priority again though.
Honestly that was the plan at the time, but the game is vast, so specific questions often go unexamined while attention is elsewhere. After that interview, the team spun up a fresh conversation about BElf/VElf customization options, and the recent blog lays out where we ended up.

“War has come, war will come again, I am old enough to have watched my people rise and fall and rise once more, and I myself have withered like the winter tree before blossoming anew.”
A new World of Warcraft short story is now available to read: A Moment in Verse!
First Arcanist Thalyssra and Regent-Lord Lor'themar Theron set aside the troubles of their individual worlds to spend one beautiful evening in a contest of verse—and in each other's hearts.
We’re excited to share this bright and charming new tale by Madeleine Roux (author of the upcoming Shadows Rising novel) with everyone, and we hope you enjoy a brief escape into the tranquility of Suramar. Read it now

DesMephisto is back (or, more accurately, he never left, as he constantly strives to improve his leveling speeds), and he's gotten his speed record for 1-50 Shadowlands leveling significantly down from his last attempt! 3 hours and 56 minutes (or 3 h 37 min, if you remove the "screwing around" parts) is all it took to get to the equivalent of today's level 120, using Chromie time in Warlords of Draenor, beating the previous best we reported by over an hour and a half.

Now, it's important to mention that Blizzard have stated in interviews that the current XP rates and leveling speeds on Alpha aren't final and are very rough at the moment, but it's till great to see players going for these speed records nonetheless.
And here's the last minute or so of the leveling process, and you can check out the whole thing below as well:

You can also check out our recent interview with the man himself, where he goes into all the many recent achievements he's had, from the 46 max level warriors, to the speed leveling, Autism charity, Guinness World Record and more.
