The Reins of the Mighty Caravan BrutosaurMighty Caravan Brutosaur mount that costs 5 Million Gold is going away sooner than expected!

The original plan was to remove the Brutosaur with the launch of Shadowlands.

Hello! Yes. About that …

Like all dinosaurs, the Reins of the Mighty Caravan BrutosaurMighty Caravan Brutosaur’s days are numbered. I can confirm that when Shadowlands goes live, the shady vendors Talutu and Tricky Nick will cease selling it. Their other offerings – the Lost PlatysaurLost Platysaur pet and the Reins of the Palehide DirehornPalehide Direhorn mount, will remain available for purchase.

We will make sure that the unforgettable Brutosaur mount is added to the lists of possible items that are sold in the Black Market Auction Houses. And of course, this new Achievement “Conspicuous Consumption” is a Feat of Strength, so as such things go, it’s not actually very conspicuous.

Today, Blizzard posted a to-do list of things to complete before Shadowlands and listed Brutosaur as going away with the Shadowlands pre-patch, not when the expansion goes live, leaving players with even less time to get one.

Shadowlands pre-patch will go live a few weeks before the expansion and we currently have no ETA when that's going to happen.

understandably this was a gold sink, but I really hope at the very least they implement a utility mount like this in the future that can be obtainable through alternative means, like grinding through materials or reputations.

I dont even understand the decision to remove it in the first place?
I get it's thematic with apocalypse and extinction as they mentioned, but by that logic all the dinosaurs should be removed from the game?

And from an economical standpoint I only see disadvantages to removing it as well, so it just makes zero sense to me

The gold sink mounts are supposed to be achievements. With gold inflating every expansion, the old gold sink mounts become ever more easily available.

Changing them into a 'feat of strength' type purchase makes them more exclusive, tempting more people to actually buy the mount when it has the most impact on the economy.

The new War Within Allied Races was added to the Alpha today and we already have a full look at not only all their customization options, but their dances as well, courtesy of MrGM! You can check out the Earthen's racial abilities here if you missed them earlier.
Let's start with the more dynamic feature, with both male and female dances:
And then there's big amount of customization options, as well as a size comparison with regular dwarves:

So, are we liking the new Allied Race overall? More than actual dwarves?

Here's a really cool possibility for the War Within, as a very subtle and mildly mysterious comment from Executive Producer and Vice President for WoW, Holly Longdale, may be hinting at our Warband characters getting a lot more involved in our travels!
First spotted by UlthansWrath, Longdale came up to Taliesin & Evitel at the recent London War Within Alpha press event and had a short chat about the Warband screen, when she casually said "wouldn't it be cool if those were the characters you took as your followers in your Follower Dungeons?" After the obvious confirmation from Taliesin and Evitel that, yes, yes it would be cool, she just said "hm" and that was the end of the conversation.
Obviously this isn't any sort of official confirmation, but considering this is a really awesome idea, it seems likely Blizzard are at the very least discussing it, if not already working on it.

The Warband system is already great, and this would add a lot to it for players that choose to go solo into dungeons, as it would give them even more motivation to get some great characters in their Warband - even if it was just a cosmetic option.
So, what do you think, will we be seeing this feature when the War Within launches?
