Core members of the Method raid team have reformed under a different name.

Echo is a new guild formed by ex-Method raiders. In a Twitter video titled "A New Chapter Begins", they revealed their guild roster, which includes Clickz, Deepshades, Fleks, Fragnance, Gingi, Grim, Jeath, Justwait, Klaus, Kuriisu, Kush,  Lørgok, Meeres, Mini, Naowh, Scripe, Narcolies, Nnoggie, Perfecto, Philwestside, Potter, Pottm, Revves, Rogerbrown, Rycn, Zaelia, Swagster, and Xerwo.

Can anyone provide a complete account of the Method incident? I have my concerns about supporting the same group of people under a simple re-brand, but I also don't know the whole story.

A simple google search will give you some answers.

Let's assume I've done that. From what I gather, it appears the entire Method organization was complicit. I was hoping to glean any additional, potentially insider, information as to why this new guild should or should not have my support.

From what I've read, it wasn't the first time Josh was accused, at least their explanation was that they have believed he has been "cleared" last time. Although previous case wasn't brought to light like this one, so in a way it does make them seem complicit. A lot points to the fact that at least some of their members have been well aware of what was going on, yet they didn't report it. As for one of their former CEOs, Sascha, I think he is still under investigation, but didn't find any update on this case.

Well, hopefully they are really clear this time. Otherwise name Echo may turn out to be rather ironic, like echoes of the past, catching up to them.

Honestly, this irony was the first thing that came to mind. Maybe a name that implied a more forward-looking philosophy...

This was exactly my first thought too. I re-read Sco's Twitlonger post on the matter and he referred to "management" multiple times when Method made certain decisions regarding MethodJosh. Yet, he never said which members were part of the management group. Sco, like a great leader, has taken public responsibility and stepped back but he's the only member of Method that I've seen do that.

I saw the twitter letter followed by uploads on Youtube about the events surrounding Method.  Any form of pedophilia or sexual harassment is wrong and can not be taken lightly in this day in age with the "Me Too" Movement being prevalent world wide.

I can understand that several of these players were clueless and left in the dark with what their management circle was doing behind their back during the world first races.  This I empathize; nothing is worse than just being guilty by association over the actions of others and you had zero idea what was going on.

But this will have unwanted negative implications for this new guild.  Even though it's a new guild it still hosts a lot of the well known players that we seen streaming in the past.  They will be antagonized about the events of what Methodjosh and what their ex guild mates have done.   And unfortunately will be heavily scrutinized through Shadowlands by Blizzard, future sponsers, and even the playerbase when it comes to loaning items/gold to put forth for the next world first race.

Some people will turn the other cheek and will give them a chance others aren't that open minded by the possibility and would rather see these players to never again play WoW.

Let us be real there,

Sco brought method from where it was to the first guild world in WoW and made it a trademark in the gaming industry.

Yet this was too big for one guy and he was supported by many. His guildmates for the WoW progress but also management people for the company Method. (His borther is CFO while he is CEO for isntance).

TL;DR for the josh case: Maybe not everyone knew but the small circle of raiders around Sco knew this perfectly.

Josh could be consider as a bad guy and even borderline phedophile but no official complaints were filled to make Josh responsible for his actions in face of the law.

Everything was decided around Twitter drama.

Personnally, I decided to unsub from Twitch accounts of the people leaving Method just for the drama. The reason is that they left the boat first to avoid the backlash just based on the twitter drama without waiting actual facts or comments from Josh or Sco.

In addition, Gingi and Naow rebranded the Method EU MDI team to Wunderbar just to complete the championship waiving completely the support given to them by the Method organization.

If they think that it only take a group of people to be world first or a gaming brand and trademark and that they made Method. Maybe, it is not Method that made them after all. Good ! I will be happy for them to go over that crisis.

But I keep on thinking that there is a lot of work put by Sco that is destroyed overnight and that there is still a bit of hypocrisy from people in the new roster.

what did you think? I dont know the whole story, but i knew they where going to form a new guild and ye let them. I am not going to support them because what happend in method was everybody's fault of the core raiders. If the WF is more importand then some allegations against a team member *filtered* that.

So much wrong in this post. First of all, you assume that people you don't even know (old method raiders) knew everything that went on with Josh. That's an assumption that nobody but they themselves know the answer to. There were official complaints about Josh because there was an actual police investigation, which failed to find anything (hence why he wasn't kicked from the guild back then and why the people in Method believed Josh when he said he was innocent - they thought it was all an act, like 90% of the people who ever watched Josh's streams did). The raiders were the last ones to leave Method after all the affiliated streamers and content creators, so they were not first to jump the boat to avoid backlash (they got plenty of backlash on their streams and twitter - and still are getting toxic trolls harassing them on twitch). The only reason Sco has not left is because he wants to attempt to rebuild it, but nobody else thinks that is possible now after what has happened (and the ongoing Sacha situation).

The Method brand was stained so of course the EU and NA MDI teams could not perform under that banner. People keep putting the raiders in with the Org, the Method guild was not the same as the org. No player in the raid team was involved in any management aspect of Method, apart from Sco. They were just raiders playing a game. The new guild is not an org, it is simply a guild for Scripe and co to continue raiding in.

I feel really bad for Sco, but Method was his guild and org, he is the one everyone associates with the name so of course he will get 90% of the backlash. He's already said he should have done more, not let the Josh situation get to where it did, but can't change that now. Hopefully after the dust settles he can move forward with his life somehow. Maybe when the vultures of the cesspit that is Twitter find a new person to harass as a hivemind of justice and all knowing.

who's that pokemon?!?

it's Charizard!!

I like him, but the reason is obvious: he appears everywhere. To the exclusion of other starters, there are so many forms. He is undoubtedly well-liked, but they keep giving him crap, such as forms and representation, and people are getting sick of it.

If they don't include the other two, starters in particular who just keep being represented are annoying. The backlash would have been directed at gen 1 and not zard if blastoise and venausaur had a g form.

Today's hotfixes are still very Plunderstorm-heavy, but we do get fixes for more achievement-related mount issues and PvP catch-up, in addition to the limited time event's adjustments.
      March 27 (Source)
      Achievements
Fixed bugs causing mounts related to A World Awoken to be unavailable, including Bestowed Ottuk Vanguard, Bestowed Trawling Mammoth, Bestowed Thunderspine Packleader, Bestowed Sandskimmer, Bestowed Ohuna Spotter, Coralscale Salamanther, Stormtouched Bruffalon, and Taivan. Player versus Player
Fixed an issue that prevented Splintered Sparks of Dreams from dropping from PvP sources while eligible for catch-up. Plunderstorm
The Storm’s fury swells! Lightning strikes during the final stage of the Storm are faster and more dangerous than before. There is now a delay of 20 seconds after being revived where players no longer drop collected Plunder. Additional enemies now spawn at Witherbark Village, the wild area northeast of Go’Shek Farm, and the wild area between Witherbark Village and Boulderfist Hall. Fixed an issue where swapping back to default sword and gun appearances were not saving correctly. Fixed an issue so that now, picking up an additional rank 2 spell while the same rank 2 spell is equipped properly grants the rank 4 version of the spell. The Captain’s Orders quest “X Marks the Spot” now requires 1 item to be picked up (was 2 items).

Well that didn't take long! We found out someone had broken the 700,000 Plunder milestone yesterday evening, and we're already done with the full amount now! Soularpower_ managed to grind it out a couple of hours ago in duos, and grabbed the Plunderkind achievement, so huge congratulations! It's been a week and a day since the event was released, and despite there being plenty of Plunder drop buffs since then it's still great to see someone get it all done already.

Unsurprisingly, the first thing Soularpower_ after reaching that goal was... play more Plunderstorm! He's actually still at it if now you want to check the stream out.

Here's our first post-patch look at the Mythic+ log rankings. While the patch didn't really touch any of the DPS or tank specs, there's still some movement there, especially in the raw DPS chart. Healers got some solid changes in the patch, and the definitely had an effect.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top percentiles are extremely stable, which makes sense since the patch didn't really bring any significant changes for DPS specs. We have to go down to number 7 to see the first bit of movement, as Destruction moves two up, leaving its fellow Warlock down in 9th, as Arms gets between them, gaining 3 spots. Havoc closes out the top 10 three down, and right behind it we find the newly buffed Elemental moving three up. While Augmentation is being properly calculated, we still find an Evoker in the bottom 3, as Devastation drops one down and takes Marksmanship's place.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
It took Shadow a little longer to get into the top in the generalist bracket, as we find it in 3rd now, pushing Outlaw down one. Balance also moves up, 2 spots into 6th, as it and Arms take advantage of Havoc's fall. The Demon Hunter finds itself 3 down in 9th, while Fury remains stable at the very end of the top 10.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
While Outlaw remains at the top, pretty much everything's changing beneath it. Shadow and Retribution joined forces and moved two up together, breaking into the top 3. Fire is also on the rise, gaining 3 spots, and right behind it we find another big leaper, as Arms moves a whopping 5 spots up.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

      All Percentiles Tank (Points)
There's actually some solid movement here, as we see Paladin take 2nd away from DK and Druid take Monk down, with Warrior remaining in last place and DH being far ahead of the pack.
Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Healer (Points)
Healers had some significant changes with the patch, but it hasn't stopped Monk from remaining at the top. Druid moves into 2nd, taking Discipline Priest down a peg, and it seems the Holy Priest patch reworks helped it out, as it gains a spot in 4th.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs and u.gg. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides, as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

In Dragonflight Season 4, Awakened/Fated raids will be on a weekly rotation.
Upon accessing the Adventure Guide and navigating to the Raids section, you'll notice a green gem icon beside the raid that's Awakened for the current week.

When a raid is Awakened, bosses are more powerful and loot drops are upgraded to a higher item level. The upcoming season revisits the Fated system introduced in Shadowlands Season 4.

We've already taken a look at all the items coming to the Trading Post next month, as the Season 4 PTR revealed them, but now let's see them in movement as well! MrGM has detailed everything coming in April, from the awesome Dreadwake mount to a pretty cool polearm, some new capes, and all the other pirate-themed items. Let's take a look.

If you'd rather just scroll through some images, you can head on to our original post here.
