Mists of Pandaria Cinematic in 4K and 48 FPS

Recommended Posts

We have another expansion cinematic upscaled and sped up to 48 FPS, with the frame rate increase being the main focus here, as we've already seen the simple resolution scale-up. SnazzyAI makes the Monk movements in the intro even more fluid, and that shot of the Jade Forest even more impressive!

While the expansion itself ended up being pretty great, this cinematic was one of the bigger reasons older players were concerned about it, as its tone was very different from previous (and later) expansion intros.

Bloodmallet has become pretty much the standard in Battle for Azeroth, and the site recently received a new front-  and backend, allowing patrons to create personalized charts!

Bloodmallet has been hard at work, improving the site, and patrons can create their own personalized charts. That way, you will be able to select your own legendary items, talents, and more.
Here's how a personalized chart looks like.

If you would like to have access to the feature, consider supporting Bloodmallet.

Here we are with another Torghast Tip™, and this time it's one of those that will become extremely useful the longer the tower is around. In case you haven't noticed already, the Broker that shows up on floor 3 actually has a little holographic display next to him, and it shows you which boss you'll be facing at the end of your run! This will be very useful later on when we're more familiar with the bosses, so we'll actually be able to plan our anima builds (you know, aside from the crazy ones that just kill everything) and purchases at the broker!

      Thanks to Suparockr.

Many players have been talking about item levels in Torghast - as some players had difficult runs they speculated whether they just needed a higher item level, but as it turns out... no, not really. It's all about anima powers and your spec in the tower (and significant player skill), as symexxx so elegantly showcases, but it's not one one of those "lol 1-shot, gear doesn't matter" things either, as this was a properly solid boss fight!
Torghast recently also received some general tuning, as well as Rogue and Warrior specific changes, but for a lot of specs it's not really that problematic, depending on at least average anima powers. In any case, congratulations to symexxx on the very first naked Torghast end-boss clear!

The Threads of Fate alt-leveling system is new with Shadowlands and is a pretty good idea - in theory. In practice it's a bit of a mess, as it skips the campaign and moves your alts directly into World Quests, bonus objectives and side quests to provide the leveling, but it turns out it a lot slower than just playing the campaign over again.
Speed leveler and leveling route/guide maker DesMephisto recently talked about the system, it's pros and cons and how he would improve it:
The system definitely has potential, at the very least giving us another option when leveling, so if it gets some improvements it could really be a great addition to the game. Currently it's main function is to skip all the intro endgame quests, as players have been switching to it when they get to level 59 or so, just so they can go straight into the endgame, and today's hotfixes made it so you can do that at level 60 as well.
