Hallow's End returns to WoW today, so check out what's new this year.

What's New in 2020?

  • The Headless Horseman drops Item Level 82 loot.
  • Only characters level 45 or higher can obtain Loot-Filled Pumpkin Loot-Filled Pumpkin, if your level is lower than that, you will receive Loot-Stuffed Pumpkin Loot-Stuffed Pumpkin for queueing up for the Headless Horseman.

The world event's meta-achievement (Hallowed Be Thy Name Hallowed Be Thy Name) is required for What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been, and you can find more information on how to earn it in our detailed Hallow's End guide.

It’s time for Tricky Treats, costumes, and—of course—the return of the Headless Horseman during this year’s Hallow’s End!

Hallow’s End celebrates the break of the Forsaken from the Scourge.

Fun and mischief reign as the Innkeepers of Azeroth give treats, and tricks, to whomever asks.

The spookiest time of year has arrived once more, and the Headless Horseman rides forth to strike terror into the hearts and minds of Azeroth’s citizens.

When: October 18–November 1
Where: Trick-or-Treat throughout the inns of Azeroth, Northrend, Pandaria, Outland, Draenor, and the Broken Isles (Dalaran) for tasty treats and currency to buy Hallow’s End delights.

All together now! —the Headless Horseman is back to set fire to Razor Hill and Goldshire once more. You’ll need to lend a hand on the bucket brigade to put them out and face the infamous rider.

It would be a lovely time of year to take a stroll through the Scarlet Monastery’s Graveyard if the Headless Horseman hadn’t decided to make it his new lair. If you're lucky and succeed in routing this menace from within, you may ride off with his steed.

Throughout Hallow’s End, characters level 10-50 will be able to queue up for this ghoulish encounter in the Dungeon Finder.

This year you’ll be able to exchange your Tricky Treats for a newly added toy:

Head to Val’sharah to undertake a quest that begins with the Hag of the Crooked Tree in Bradensbrook. Follow the tale through to its culmination and you’ll receive some Tricky Treats and a chance of receiving one of four utterly bewitching hats.

  • Thanks 1

Xirev has once again conquered World of Warcraft, achieving 100% completion in Dragonflight's Achievement Points!
With the latest update, Patch 10.2.7, Xirev clinched the final achievement, Hunt the Harbinger, achieving full points in Dragonflight. Congratulations!

Xirev is currently sitting at an impressive 46,390 achievement points, but the time and effort to get this far is spread across 14 years of dedicated gameplay!
Xirev recommends other achievement hunters to prioritize limited-time events and, beyond those, focus on completing specific subcategories.

Mythic Jaina is now easier to solo in Patch 10.2.7, and there have been some tweaks to G'huun as well!
According to numerous Reddit reports, Mythic Jaina is easier to solo with the launch of Dark Heart.
In the off-boat phase, she won’t freeze you anymore, which is a relief since that mechanic was the main cause of deaths during solo attempts.
Mythic Jaina has a 1% chance to drop Glacial Tidestorm, a sought-after Water Elemental mount.

The Conclave of the Chosen in the Dazar'alor raid seems to have been fixed too; you won’t be permanently silenced anymore. However, Rastakhan is still capable of one-shotting players, but his totems no longer zombify.
Updates to G'huun in Uldir mean that the orbs no longer slow or root you, nor do they give you a debuff. Yet, you still need to deposit them simultaneously.
So far, there's no new information on Mythrax in Ny'alotha, who remains notoriously difficult to solo. We'll keep you updated with more details soon!

The mount you get upon completing all Awakened Raids on Normal difficulty supports Dragonriding.
Awakening the Dragonflight Raids on live servers awards the Voyaging Wilderling's Harness mount. With the third week of Awakened Raids, players have now earned it and figured out the mount fully supports Dragonriding even before the War Within pre-patch!

Find out how to unlock the Earthen Allied Race in the War Within expansion.
Allied Races: Earthen Unlock Requirements is the achievement that contains all the requirements needed to unlock Allied Races in the War Within expansion. Keep in mind you will need to complete the max level campaign and we do not know if those quests will be available immediately upon TWW launch, as Blizzard likes to timegate campaign chapters.
