"The least favorite are Demonology Warlocks (7,083 runs), Fire (151,186 runs), and Frost (22,496) Mages."

There's a mistake on the number of fire mage runs, and also it's arcane mage and not frost mage

Popular now but, all this should change quickly. Once we hit actual Shadowlands content, these lists won't matter.

Tbf it's tidbits about how things have changed. With little SL news of late, they feel the need to report something and this is an interesting thing to ponder.

There will be another list that will replace this one.

I understand that. And I'm not intending to come across as snarky or anything, it just feels like information that doesn't matter. It's interesting but not much use.

I assumed as much. A similar list for when SL content drops will be beyond helpful.

Blizzard have detailed what's been going on in relation to server stability and the long queues some servers are experiencing:
      (source)
Since shortly after the launch of Shadowlands, we’ve experienced some service issues that are negatively impacting gameplay on a small number of realms. In this region, we’ve been monitoring and working around the clock to solve these issues for:
Area 52 Frostmourne Illidan Stormrage Tichondrius We increased realm capacity to let more players than ever before into a single realm, but extreme demand on a few realms has exceeded even that capacity, so we have dialed down some of our earlier changes. We are trying to carefully balance service stability and accessibility, and exploring multiple avenues to get everyone online and playing smoothly.
This issue is our number one priority. We will continue to work to solve this as quickly as possible, and we will provide further updates as necessary.
Thank you very much for your patience.

The most controversial issues of the Shadowlands has begun creating real problems already. Many players are having huge issues when switching Covenants, as there's either bugs in the way or, much worse, actual intended consequences of the switch. We will be looking at only a few of the many reports of problems/badly designed switching systems from reddit.
The biggest issue reported so far is for players who chose a Covenant, only to find out they don't really like it and, since it was explained that switching them was NOT a big deal, while switching back was, they swapped early and are now screwed for an entire week's worth of progression and story content.
We don't know if this is unintended, a bug, or exactly how it's supposed to work, so there may be hotfixes incoming (hopefully).
What seems to be happening with all of the above is that they "spent" their currency on their previous Covenant or it was "locked" by default because it was earned pre-switch, and the souls needed to progress the campaign are now VERY hard to come by (only possible through World Quest drop) because of the weekly limitations.
So if you're not liking your Covenant, either wait until late in the week to switch, or maybe if you haven't done ANYTHING in it, it could be safe to do so, but we can't be sure. Let's hope there's hotfixes coming soon and this isn't the way it's intended.

The Shadowlands really look incredible, and the visuals really are one of the strongest aspects of the new expansion, but there's even more to them (or less, in this case)! Players have been exploring the afterlife, and after many, MANY "Bastion is really bright" memes, it seems players have taken to dimming things down, and the Inky Black Potion from the Darkmoon Faire makes the Shadowlands really true to their name!
Let's start with Oribos, as the contrast really pops:

      Source: cjschnyder.
      And the infinitely bright Bastion:

      Source: Hakizu.

      Source: Trunkins.
We even got a comparison shot for Maldraxxus!

      Source: JehnSnow.
But truly, Ardenweald is the star of this Inky Black show:

      Source: Azeda_.

      Source: opticaltuna.
While Revendreth just looks more Revendrethy:

      Source: Azeda_.
The Maw, however, sort of loses some of its uniqueness:

      Source: thadakism.
We even get a clearer view of Torghast back in Icecrown with the potion!

      Source: tiniestjazzhands.

In any case, if you have some potions handy, definitely take a look around each zone while you're in there, or if not, don't forget to stock up the next time the Darkmoon Faire is in town!

Did you always get slightly upset when Pelagos and Kleia would mount up on those cool flying lion-looking mounts in the Bastion quests and you couldn't? Well now you can! The Silverwind Larion has been found, or rather the way to get him has, as you'll "just" need to collect 50 tiny Anima Shards in Bastion.

As Belivious677 pointed out, the WoW secret finding community has recently found the final 50th one, and you can find all their locations (and details on the hunt itself) in this google document, or they may have already been uploaded to the HandyNotes: Shadowlands addon as well (the creator put together the google doc as well), or they will be soon.

These aren't all of them so definitely check out the google doc for the full guide.
So once again, thanks to Belivious677 for pointing out the secret has been solved, to HandyNotes maker Zarillion for putting the search together and to the WoW secret finding discord for, well, finding the secret!

We have a very useful list/visual made by TempusSimian today, as they've taken a look at all the Covenant-related mounts you can acquire, and you don't even need to be in that specific Covenant for all of them (although you might need help from someone who is)! This isn't a definitive and final list, as TempusSimian has just researched the matter and the expansion is 2 days old, but it's very useful nonetheless! It's also a giant image so zoom in for the best results!

In terms of actually being able to ride the mounts when not in that specific Covenant, the non-Covenant specific section SHOULD be usable regardless of affiliation. Another thing to note: it's likely that after Shadowlands, all of the Covenant exclusive mounts will become available to everyone, as you won't be in your Covenant for the next expansion's content (presumably, at least). We can't be sure on that last one, but it's a safe/reasonable bet. Also, don't forget, you can swap Covenants if you're just after the mounts for your collection and mounts collected total number (so maybe one of your alts will be the Covenant traitor and go around collecting mounts)!

      Source.
So thanks a lot to TempusSimian for assembling this and hopefully it will aid you in your mount collecting journey!
