wow Experience from Korrak's Revenge Drastically Nerfed this Year

Korrak's Revenge is available during the 16th-anniversary event, but the Experience gains have been drastically nerfed this year.

Last year, Korrak's Revenge, the anniversary version, also known as Alterac Valley Classic, offered a lot of passive Experience from just being in the instance and was overall great for leveling alts. This year, however, reports indicate it's been nerfed into oblivion with just 8% XP per run.

On top of that, players are reporting lags, and many cannot join the special queue while in a group, and there also appear to be some scaling issues. A temporary workaround to join the queue is to repeatedly spam the queue button until it eventually works.

You must earn 200 Timewarped Badges from doing quests and participating in Alterac Valley Classic to earn Alterac Valley of Olde (A) or Alterac Valley of Olde (H) and the faction mounts that come with it.

Alliance players will receive a ram mount Stormpike Battle Ram, whilst Horde players will get the Frostwolf Snarler.

with how much faster it is to lvl i guess you really dont need this place but damn only 8% thats a pretty drastic hit to the xp from how it was

Considering this event is primarily for nostalgia and to earn a mount, and that there was a large level squish and dramatic increase to overall leveling speed, the nerf to XP is not particularly impactful. 

Let's keep it in perspective, folks.

Another note is that the TW gear vendor that was available in the last Korrak's Revenge is currently NOT available (The one who sold TW versions of Frostwolf/Stormpike vendor gear)

taking into account all factors - it officially ruined. due to the fact that it is literally impossible to play on bg now, they could just give everyone a mount  and give out badges. all we know in last year it was popular only through experience. im sure that  less than 20% of BG was the max lvl players and these were those who already had no one to boost or only  badges farmers.

Even if you adjust for the level squish, it's still a MASSIVE NERF compared to last years event. I feel sorry for anyone who actually needs the mounts still, good luck getting a group, no one is going to do the event this year.

To be fair, ANY chance to get the mount this year should be appreciated, even if it's inconvenient. At the end of the 15th Anniversary, we all accepted the fact the chance was over, so this is a magical unicorn gift horse whose mouth we should avert our eyes from.
