Bots Out in Force, Being Mistaken for Multiboxers

Recommended Posts

The recent clamping down on certain multiboxing activities may have pushed some into botting, as many players have noticed an uptick in certain farm spots. What's worse, these players seem to be confusing things and assuming these characters are actually multiboxers, and presuming it's a "last hurrah" type of situation:

The Nazmir spot has always been popular with botters and sights like these aren't entirely uncommon, but their numbers seem to have increased since the multiboxing restrictions. The other very interesting thing we've seen in these threads after the ban of input broadcasting software, is that many players actually don't really know the difference between bots and multiboxers, as you can see plenty of misconceptions (and explanations) in this reddit thread.

So, just in case you weren't sure yourself - bots are fully automated programs that run the character completely independently of an actual person, and many can be run simultaneously and 24/7. Meanwhile, input broadcasting software allows a person to copy their actual physical keystrokes to other accounts and basically get more of the same actions they're actually performing onto other characters. Unfortunately there could be some overlap as some bots may be using input broadcasting, but after the restrictions, that seems less likely even for them (despite botting itself also being a bannable offense).

And, if you thought only retail was plagued by weird birds, Classic has that beat!

And if you want WEIRD bots, head on over here for some very confused druids.

Any spot in the game with a rapid respawn that kills reward any amount of xp at all are a bot spot, whether it's the tar pits in Nazmir, the raptor nests in Zuldazar, the Legion front in Azsuna, or the demons around Auchindoun in WoD to name a few.

So it sounds like, from this post, that bots are OK and people would be silly to think otherwise. But me, personally, I prefer real people to automatons. Silly me...silly me...silly me...silly me...silly me...silly me...

Very disheartening tbh.

For shame on Blizzard for allowing this to go on for so long, it's an absolute joke at this stage. 15 years it took them to ban boxing and they still haven't gotten control of the bots yet either, not to mention the whole awful scummy boosting spammers that destroy chat channels, in an MMO, where you're supposed to be able to chat and you'd bet a load of them boosting spammer communities are behind the bots and boxers too.

Even private servers care more about the game and community than Blizzard do.

Nothing in those posts is actually "mulitboxing" with regards to the input broadcasting change.  Bots will continue to bot. That those posts get so much traction blaming multiboxing is such a sad state of affairs.

If you plan on buying the physical War Within Collector's Edition and live in Europe, you're going to have a bad time!
Blizzard has ceased distributing WoW Collector's Editions through retailers with the release of Dragonflight, making the Blizzard Store the only place to buy them. However, the shipping costs could be a dealbreaker for many collectors eager to acquire the latest edition for the upcoming expansion.
Reddit user katamai from Serbia posted a screenshot of their order, revealing that the shipping fees exceed the cost of the box itself—280 Euros for shipping compared to 200 Euros for the box, totaling 480 Euros.

Additionally, Emi, a follower on our Facebook page, reported a shipping cost of 99 Euros to Romania, nearly ten times what it costs to ship to the UK.

A practical workaround might be to order the Collector's Edition to a UK address and then use a shipping service to forward it to your address in Europe, potentially saving a considerable amount of money.
How much does it cost to ship the box to your country?

We've already talked about and taken a first look at the Delve-specific mount coming in the War Within, but now it's time to check out all of its customization options!
LeystTV has delved into the mount and shown off all the options, from the different colors to nose, wing, thruster, and top customizations, with glider, blimp, helicopter looks and more! There's even different versions of Horde and Alliance decals to choose from!

And these may not even be all the options present at launch, not to mention new ones Blizzard might add with later patches, making this one of the cooler mounts in the game.
