Well, it seems despite the zombies from the invasion event being a little on the weak side players have been able to make good use of them and spread the infection basically everywhere! There's spots where you can spawn pretty much endless undead, players invading enemy capitals in zombie raids, garrisons being accidentally infected and a LOT more fun with the event we're going to be looking at.

We start with the most crazy visual, as Shattershore seems to be a pretty solid place to farm up your own private Scourge legion since the mobs instantly respawn meaning HUNDREDS of zombies will join your cause and it looks... :

They key seems to be organization, as solo zombies won't get much done, but if you're in a group intent on causing havoc, it can get pretty interesting. Here's a video with some tips if you're in the zombie mood (source) :

Then we're on to some capital sieges, as both friendly and opposing faction leaders were not spared from the onslaught:

The fun isn't limited to the capitals and nearby either, as players are exporting the invasion everywhere.

And sometimes you just want to take a break and get away from it all, to your place of zen:

But Shattershore isn't the only place you can get a whole lotta friends, as the gate to Azshara in Orgrimmar can also be converted into a nightmarish zombie horde:

But you don't need many mobs to create zombies, a single 0 respawn timer NPC will do just fine!

They even pose for group shots!

And on the other side of the conflict, some players are really getting good at zombie killin':

Finally, you'd think you'd be safe when going to the one place no one else can enter without an invite... buuuut:

"That moment you want to escape zombies infested SW, port to your garrison not noticing you were infected..."

We hope to see even more zombie shenanigans in the coming week, and it's really great that players are having so much fun with the event, despite it's slightly toned down nature.

Once again, another event destroys the fun of the game......sure, for a single week, but that is beside the point, i want to play NOW, not be a zombie, i want the choice....but hey, Blizz being the way they are, forced it on all of us.....very lame...very lame.

Agree. I want to be able to use the 16% increase to exp before it expires. I still have one lvl 46.  But nooooo. We gots to have another zombie.

I like that they made everyone get affected by this event. By playing this game you choose to be a part of this world. And right now, there's a zombie invasion in this world. You don't get to just opt out of a zombie invasion.

Much like the current pandemic IRL. You can choose to ignore it but there's always a risk of getting infected.
