Legendary Memories Dropping from Non-final Dungeon Bosses Is a Big Problem

This is one of those issues that you've probably come across yourselves, if you've ever done some random group finder dungeons. Blizzard has put legendary memories as drops from various bosses in dungeons, with relatively low droprates and, as you'd expect, players are immediately leaving after (not) getting their drop.

While this may not be a huge issue if a DPS drops out, as there's always more waiting in the queue and the additions are pretty fast, when a tank or healer does this, it creates some major problems. A common tactic is to simply go tank or healer for a fast queue to get your DPS legendary memory and then drop. Since some of these legendary memories drop from the first or second bosses, this can be especially frustrating, and even if it's "just" DPS dropping out, sometimes it can be ALL the DPS, and it still messes with the run, despite the relatively short wait time.

What's worse is that sometimes you get players that need an early, they drop out, you get new ones, and then they either immediately leave because they needed the killed boss or do 1-2 more bosses to get theirs then leave. Then there's the specific dungeon factor, as some dungeons are a nightmare because tanks or healers need their legendaries from non-endbosses there, making places like the Sanguine Depths incredibly frustrating.

The most annoying thing of all is that Blizzard actually had this EXACT same problem before - and they actually fixed it really fast. Back in Warlords of Draenor there were daily dungeon quests from your Garrison tavern which required a specific boss kill, and players would just leave after it, just like they do now. But in WoD, Blizzard hotfixed the issue very quickly, making it necessary to also kill the endboss of the dungeon to complete the quest. While there isn't really a way to do that exact thing here, simply moving ALL the memories to dungeon enbosses would immediately solve the problem. But it would also very much anger players still farming theirs, as it would extend the time to farm them in LFG but also mess with actual farming setups, like the recent all-Hunter Plaguefall one.

Players are already coming up with "solutions" to this, however, as one tank explains his strategy:

As a tank I've started purposely doing different routes to try and go around bosses people are farming. It only works for a few dungeons but it causes sweet sweet salt when you go left in De Other Side instead of right with enh shaman.

There's a very large amount of posts on the subject, with players (rightfully) complaining, especially when tanks and healers are concerned, so don't be one of those that bail as one of those roles in particular. You are after all playing an MMO and affecting other people with your decisions.

Hopefully Blizzard hotfixes the issue soon, as this is bound to continue throughout the expansion, with alts coming in all the time.

This needs to be fixed asap.
I think this is a problem on all servers. Perhaps Blizzard can consider their method on the GMOD problem.
GMOD is a mount looted from Mekkatorque, but many players left the LFG group after killing it, thus stranding the group.
So Blizzard shifted GMOD to Jaina for group finder mode and left the other difficulty levels untouched.
Maybe we need an encore? and we need it quick.

EDIT: Besides, those who have a desperate need for memories can and should find a dedicated group to farm normal mode dungeons, thus increasing their efficiency and sparing others the consequences of inconsiderate actions.

One question, how do the drops work in M+? If the drop rate was higher there, it would encourage running it, and they'd need to both complete it, and time it for best chance.

Blizzard have clarified why players are able to get a full Spark of Awakening through the two available Splinters in the first week of Dragonflight Season 4, and it seems it's only for this week and only due to catch-up rules being enabled!
      Splintered Spark (Source)
Just want to confirm this with some details.
Everyone essentially started Season 4 in catch-up mode. Players were able to get 1 Splintered Spark of Awakening from the weekly quest, whether that’s the weekly “Last Hurrah” quest or the PvP weeklies offered by Malicia.
And then you’re able to get another splinter / half-spark from any valid catch-up sources, such as Mythic+, Awakened Raids, and PvP wins.
Next week and thereafter, only one Splintered Spark is obtainable every week. And like Seasons 2 and 3, with the increasing cap on Splintered Sparks per week, and if you ever fall behind you will be able to get Splintered Sparks from any catch-up source.

It seems there may be an easier way to obtain the Tusks of Mannoroth appearance during the Mists of Pandaria Remix event!
The tusks are one of the rarest transmogs in the game currently, even with the recently added Siege of Orgrimmar skip, as their drop rates are VERY low (0.1-0.3%, reportedly). As spotted by MrGM, the new Tusks of Mannoroth are a cosmetic appearance item added in the new limited time event. Now, some have suggested they may just be purchasable from the Bronze vendor (the currency that will drop off of pretty much anything in the event), making them pretty easy to get, but it seems there might be a different way to get them.
It's unclear whether the cosmetic will actually be purchasable or if it will drop somewhere else, but another interesting Mannoroth-related item was added as well, the Bones of Mannoroth, which may be related to the cosmetic.

As you can see the bones are a stackable resource you gain from killing Garrosh, and it's looking like they're a way to guarantee the Tusk appearance with enough kills! Just how many drop is unclear, but assuming you need all 20 for the appearance and that Normal drops 1, Heroic 2 and Mythic 3 bones, it may take at least 7 weeks to get them. Now the number required might be/is likely to be lower than the 20  stack maximum, and we may get more bones per kill.
But even at 7 weeks it's much, much easier to get than the current "hope for 0.3%" in retail, so it's still a pretty good deal! This may or may not upset players that farmed for the tusks for a long time the regular way, but there's a whole lot players that will be thrilled!
The Remix: Mists of Pandaria event starts on May 16th and should last until August 19th.

If you plan on buying the physical War Within Collector's Edition and live in Europe, you're going to have a bad time!
Blizzard has ceased distributing WoW Collector's Editions through retailers with the release of Dragonflight, making the Blizzard Store the only place to buy them. However, the shipping costs could be a dealbreaker for many collectors eager to acquire the latest edition for the upcoming expansion.
Reddit user katamai from Serbia posted a screenshot of their order, revealing that the shipping fees exceed the cost of the box itself—280 Euros for shipping compared to 200 Euros for the box, totaling 480 Euros.

Additionally, Emi, a follower on our Facebook page, reported a shipping cost of 99 Euros to Romania, nearly ten times what it costs to ship to the UK.

A practical workaround might be to order the Collector's Edition to a UK address and then use a shipping service to forward it to your address in Europe, potentially saving a considerable amount of money.
How much does it cost to ship the box to your country?
