QE Dungeon Tips: Essential Addon for Mythic Dungeons in Shadowlands

Recommended Posts

With the beginning of Mythic Season 1 in Shadowlands, we'd like to highlight QE Dungeon tips, an essential for new and veteran players that shows useful info inside mob tooltips!

Questionably Epic Dungeon Tips is an addon that shows really useful information inside mob tooltips so that you never forget which mob has that massive AoE that kills your whole party. The addon is invaluable, especially for new players, because it informs you about:

  • Abilities you need to dodge;
  • Skippable mobs;
  • Interruptible spells;
  • Mechanics that require defensive cooldowns/big heals;
  • Crowd control info.

The addon automatically adjusts to your role, so if you swap to your tank specialization, you will see only tank-specific information like when to face mobs away from the party or other deadly mechanics.

Swapping to your healing specialization displays specific tips on what to dispel and mobs/bosses you will need big healing cooldowns for.

Here's how Warlord Parjesh's tooltip with the tips looks like in the game.

You can download the addon on Curse or WoWInterface.

I installed it a couple weeks ago and have already found it useful in dungeon runs. Definitely recommended—especially for non-hardcore players like me who don’t want to spend hours memorizing online videos just to run dungeons 😉

This addon is awesome and helps out alot with trash pack information and simple reminders on boss mechanics.  Highly recommend for your team.

That looks good. I've always disliked DBM, but this is basically putting the info you'd be searching online for straight in the tooltip.

When I was tanking as a Warrior in early BfA, I used this addon and it helped out a lot when I was first getting my feet wet!

It's quite useful for all roles.

      Blizzard made a stealth hotfix and added threads as a quest reward from the daily dungeon, scenario, and raid quests in MoP Remix.
      Epic spools are now rewarded from completing Random Dungeons in MoP Remix. They grant your cloak +100 stat.

      Legendary spools have been added as a reward for completing the daily dungeon/raid/scenario quest. They give your cloak +180 stat.

      Blizzard was quick to nerf the goat farm, but resourceful players have discovered a new farming spot in Krasarang Wilds featuring hozen mobs!
      In the southernmost part of Krasarang Wilds, players have found hozen mobs hyperspawning, creating a new farming hotspot. By taking advantage of this area, you can kill approximately 2,000 mobs per hour, yielding around 15,000 Bronze.

      Thanks to Kozko for the screenshot and the video that explains the new farm in more detail.

      We have more changes coming to Remix, as Blizzard reduce some mob HP and damage, adjust gems, fix some ability bugs and more!

      We’ve continued to deploy hotfixes to the game in response to feedback and data that we’re seeing. The following adjustments are now live, and are intended to address concerns about the balance of low- and high-level players in various Remix content:
      • The health of creatures in heroic scenarios has been decreased by 20% - 25%, based on the players’ levels. Higher level players will see enemies incur a larger decrease.
      • The health and damage of creatures on the Timeless Isle, Isle of Giants, and Isle of Thunder has been reduced.
      • Several spell gems (that were not down scaling up or down correctly based on player level) have been adjusted so that they provide a more-appropriate scaling effect. This includes Cold Front, Windweaver, Vampiric Aura, and Lightning Rod.
      • Spell gems with shielding effects should no longer cause threat.
      • Fixed a bug with Righteous Frenzy not canceling upon the end of combat.
      • Timerunner’s Vial mana regen significantly increased.
      We’ll have all of the above, as well as other hotfixes to various issues, listed in our next hotfixes update.
      Thanks again for all of your feedback!

      Here's an early look at the Earthen Heritage Armor sets coming in the War Within.
      Heritage of the Earthen requires players to earn level 50 on a newly created earthen character. Keep in mind the race is gated behind completing the max-level campaign and some side-quests in Khaz Algar. You will find more about that here.
      MrGM has completed the entire questline on the PTR and has shared all 3 available tints on X.

      It seems Blizzard are hunting down and nuking all the hyperspawns in Mists of Pandaria Remix! The goat farm in the Valley of the four Winds, which wasn't nearly as good as the original Timeless Isle Frog one that started it all, is now also gone.
      The goats are no longer dropping threads nor items, just the Bronze event currency. Blizzard also recently nerfed the Horde Dalaran sewers farm (but left the Alliance equivalent alone, at least until now), so players are scouring Pandaria for any hyperspawns left! It seems it really is the land of exploration, just perhaps not in the way Blizzard intended.
