Warrior Twisting Corridors Tips (Mostly Fury)

Recommended Posts

Here's a number of tips for Warriors, mostly Fury, but also applicable to Arms for Twisting Corridors, as many players have been having issues with the mode. First off I'll share some of my own and then move on to the real expert here, DesMephisto, who has finished layer 8 and gotten his mount!

From how I see it, there's two paths you can take to steamroll the instance, either the Condemn Condemn way, with non stop Condemn at any health + the knockdown power (and works for both Fury and Arms) or the more defensive Enraged Regeneration Enraged Regeneration path with the extended duration and/or cooldown reduction/proc off Ignore Pain Ignore Pain. Obviously getting both is the best way, but you may not be that lucky. The Condemn path is definitely faster and better for some bosses, but you reeeally have to not miss those spell knockdowns and get a solid bit of of haste as DesMephisto talks about. Meanwhile the Enraged Regeneration path is very easy to get going, unlike in regular Torghast, as basically just the extended duration based on Soul Remnants power is enough to get you perma regened and spamming that Bloodlust Bloodlust for massive healing (since you will have a loot of remnants by the upper floors, the duration of the buff will be longer than its CD), with even a bit of extra HP making it all the better. Of course there's the usual cheese, which might not be enough for the really high HP bosses but will help chunk their health, aka the break vases Slam Slam becomes insane power, which actually stacks and persists through death, but that's not something you can count on. The best first power pick to fish for (by going out and in again) would still most likely be the 100% Condemn damage + use it at any health).

Also one final note from me, do NOT take Signet of Tormented Kings Signet of Tormented Kings, as Bladestorm will get you killed and really isn't much of a DPS increase, and actually will cost you a lot of DPS on the boss, and hoping you get an Avatar proc instead isn't a great plan.

And now on to the actually pro tips!

And here's Des' layer 8 run as well:

Does the condemn knockdown work with execute?

That's a good question lol, didn't think of it. I actually think it doesn't since it's a Covenant specific power, but there should be others for the other Covenant powers which maybe as good/better. But tbh I've completed layers without that specific one, it's just a big bonus and handles some boss casts, I don't think it's necessary personally. Just without Condemn I think your DPS might suffer a lot, but again I dunno the other Covenant power affecting anima powers.

Executive Producer Holly Longdale teased some upcoming experimental PvE-focused content that Blizzard will soon reveal to the community.
It appears that Plunderstorm isn't the only new mode Blizzard plans to add to WoW this year.
Holly Longdale today teased an upcoming PvE-oriented event that will soon be revealed to us. Holly might be talking about the "Timerunning Pandamonium," expected in Patch 10.2.7.

      Greetings Citizens of Azeroth,
It’s been great seeing so many players taking the plunge into Plunderstorm and we’ve loved seeing all of the stories and feedback as this experimental event evolves. It will be exciting to see some of the community content creators going head-to-head as duos during the Plunderstorm Creator Royale on March 30!  This isn’t the end of the things we want to try in World of Warcraft, however, and we have more in store we can’t wait to show you.
Dragonflight Season 4 is in route as testing begins on the PTR and we’ll have more news to share soon™ on the next experiment we have up our sleeves. We hope those of you who are looking for PvE focused content will enjoy what we’re planning, all while we continue to press forward on development of our next expansion for World of Warcraft— The War Within.
We can’t wait to share with you all the many things the team has been hard at work on.
With gratitude and excitement for what we’ll do together next,
      Holly Longdale
