New Login Screen from the PTR?

Recommended Posts

A new login screen briefly became visible on the PTR yesterday before Blizzard decided to revert the update.

UPDATE: The login screen was actually an April Fools' joke.

Heroes of the Storm hasn't received a new content patch for a while now, and many players wonder what's next for the game.

Yesterday, a new login screen appeared on the PTR, showing off a pixelated version of the Heroes of the Storm logo. What could that possibly mean? Some Reddit users think this might be a joke. Currently, we do not have any information about a new patch, but we will keep you updated when Blizzard releases a new update, so stay tuned for the official patch notes!

Is it real? Looks like it might have been a joke based on this Reddit post:

If it's april fools' joke, then it's a rather poor one. The point is to make it on the same day, not to set it in advance.

Well, it wouldn't be the first off-season April Fools joke they've made would it?

Yes, it points to very same account making a joke last year.

Given the state of the game, making an April Fools joke teasing Blackthorne is just sad and depressing. Blizzard butchered their best team and their best game, and this is what we get?
