We've already seen Blizzard's official entry, the 9.0.5.0.5 patch notes, and the early (and awesome) entries, so now it's time to look back on April 1st as a whole and check out some of the best WoW community April Fools jokes!

One of the bigger ones today was by my colleagues over at Raider.IO, as they had several changes to their site, as well as the reveal of the Season 2 Mythic+ affix!

There's a whole elaborate explanation of the new affix and how it chains you similar to the Eye of the Jailer in the Maw, along with some analysis on how it might interact with a few other affixes as well! A pretty in-depth entry indeed, and you should absolutely give it a read.

There were two additional changes to Raider.IO as well, with both SL Season 1 boss and dungeon names getting a little more... accurate?

  

The names are still changed at the time of publishing.

Even the official WoW esports twitter got in on the action, as they really leaned into the "WoW" part:

Then we have some individual community member ones, with varying levels of effort put in, with this one coming in on the low, but still pretty effective end, by Grayvves:

"I just opened my Great Vault and I had no idea dungeon mounts could drop here too! First time I see it"

And another lower effort one, and despite it perhaps seeming a bit mean spirited, it is heavily hinted that it's an April Fools with the number of runs:

Then there's some Classic players' fears made manifest (and pretty well done by MethixYo too). The first one is actually sort of likely and even expected, which adds to the believability, and it escalates from there, with one that we REALLY should get as it's too awesome not to have.

This next one is only for actual reddit users, as shootsome has researched and found the scientifically proven worst WoW player! In case you don't have/aren't logged in to your reddit account, the link goes directly to your own user page, and plenty of redditors got a wee bit scared, and the post has been (and still is) the most popular one on r/WoW all day!

And finally, there's some extremely wordy ones, like broheim-msf's pretty huge "Classic Forever" patch notes, with some actual improvements:

Here’s hoping we see Tyrande gone too then. No more whining about Malfurion.
