wow Sylvanas Drops Unique Melee DPS Trinket that References Saurfang in Patch 9.1

Sylvanas in the Sanctum of Domination drops an interesting Strength trinket that references Saurfang, who she killed in Battle for Azeroth.

It's a Strength (Melee DPS) trinket called Old Warrior's Soul and it grants the wearer two effects: Undying Rage and Endless Duty.

• Undying Rage: While in combat, your rage builds, increasing your Haste by X every 10 seconds.
• Endless Duty: When a nearby ally's health drops below 50%, sacrifice Y of your health to heal them for Y.

The "X" and "Y" in the tooltip are just placeholder values, but they give us a good idea about how the trinket will work.

I believe the title is kinda missleading. It should drop for all melee strength classes, not just warrior 🙂

...am I the only one realizing the implication, that she trapped Saurfang's soul in some item and carries it with her, probably to torment him?     Sad way for his story to end, he's another pocket item we disenchant when the next tier rolls around.

A Saurfang themed trinket with 'healing allies' component, what an exciting dps trinket this is. Are they fuking serious with this? Saurfang is known as the Cleave God, this is the perfect opportunity to replicate the cleave trinket from HFC in WoD and make the plate melees feel like total bosses in M+ and raiding.

Anyway, it's not unlike Blizzard to miss great opportunities, you guys remember that sewer in BFA where 4 tortollan rogues and a kobold Master Assassin were hiding? Yeah, me neither.

Really? That final moment of his life overshadows everything and defines the character? Grom sacrificed himself for his people, should a trinket themed after him heal others or enrage the wearer? What about Broxxigar, maybe his hypothetical trinket should heal as well instead of proccing Crit/Mastery? Doesn't matter if it's useful or not, healing people as warrior feels like shi't, cleaving the fuk out of packs is absolutely awesome.
