Impressive (and Crazy) Class-Themed Back Concepts by Sercan Özyurt

It's time for more of the very prolific and very talented Sercan Özyurt, as he brings us more fan art! After the Sanctum of Domination introduced the first quiver-looking cloak option, Sercan had added a lot more to the concept, from scabbards, assassin kits, totems and even entire Naaru!

First off we have the more marshal and down to earth versions, from weapon kits to enhanced cloaks, book bags and a whole lot of pouches, and each has three tiers as the visuals get more complex and impressive:

Hey All. I had drawn quick sketches about class specific cloaks. It's not a main project did I work. On Shadowlands, Art team added so many different cloak (backpack) items we haven't seen before on previous expansions.

I tried new styles with new contents. Warrior has weapon kit on his back. Hunter has a quiver on his back. Deathknight has wide type cloak (Includes shoulder parts - It may cause glitch on walk animation but I don't think it's gona be problem) Rogue has assasin type backpack kits, includes coin pouches, knifes, guns and poisons. Paladin has books on his back and romanian type cloak. I'm still thinking about mage it's on progress.
I tried to made them simple for examples how they look. I will expand the variations on near future. I hope you like it.

The second round of classes brings a lot more flash and outlandish ideas, with the aforementioned Naaru taking the cake, as Demon Hunters get some more permanent wings:

Hey All. I had drawn quick sketches about class specific cloaks before. On Shadowlands, This is the second part of it.

I tried new styles with new contents. Druid has leaf, feather, and malorne horn on his back. Also symbol of his/her spec on. Priest carry Lesser Naaru on his back. Warlock has a demonic circle/portal-ish cloak and chains. Shaman has wolf fur/pelt on his back also carrying wolf themed totems and some usefull stuffs. Monk has carry his big pandaren-ish hat on his back (this is most iconic part of pandaren monks and wanderers). Demon hunter's wings can appear while on his normal stand. Also there are few demonic spikes. On tier 3 There are two banners chained on his spikes. (I was imagined like İllidari overlord, carrying banner)
I tried to made them simple for examples how they look. I will expand the variations on near future. I hope you like it.

It's all very impressive and a great addition to Sercan's collection, from his Old GodCovenant, and Heritage themed armor sets, to potential shop cosmetics, Covenant Druid forms, incredible Sanctum of Domination armor sets, and the mount concepts. Meanwhile you should go and check out all his work over on his Artstation.

What he did to tiers is what I wished Blizzard would've done years ago. I know Mythic is already looking like an upgraded version of LFR/Normal/HC gear, but I wish they would build it up like this. It would look really awesome to have people actually 'build up' their gear as they progress through the difficulties (except for the more experienced players who would just skip to HC/Mythic straight away). But yeah, I personally think Blizzard is incredibly lazy when it comes to designing armour-sets, mounts and stuff like that. Anytime they need to increase the amount of gear or mounts 95% of the time they just grab the pot of recolours, slap it on there and call it a day.

Class themed cloaks are cool, but having a naaru on your back is dumb. I mean why stop there, I want Garrosh strapped on the back of my warrior.

I mean you say that as a joke but....

Having had to suffer through his shit in BC, even before he became a raging asshole, I'd LOVE to parade his corpse on my Tauren. Also he could wield Gorehowl as an extra weapon.

Damn man, you went dark with that one. I can see it working though, if you have to defeat him in some kind of Mage Tower challenge and then he becomes a trophy in the way you described. Not a bad idea at all.

The new War Within Allied Races was added to the Alpha today and we already have a full look at not only all their customization options, but their dances as well, courtesy of MrGM! You can check out the Earthen's racial abilities here if you missed them earlier.
Let's start with the more dynamic feature, with both male and female dances:
And then there's big amount of customization options, as well as a size comparison with regular dwarves:

So, are we liking the new Allied Race overall? More than actual dwarves?

Here's a really cool possibility for the War Within, as a very subtle and mildly mysterious comment from Executive Producer and Vice President for WoW, Holly Longdale, may be hinting at our Warband characters getting a lot more involved in our travels!
First spotted by UlthansWrath, Longdale came up to Taliesin & Evitel at the recent London War Within Alpha press event and had a short chat about the Warband screen, when she casually said "wouldn't it be cool if those were the characters you took as your followers in your Follower Dungeons?" After the obvious confirmation from Taliesin and Evitel that, yes, yes it would be cool, she just said "hm" and that was the end of the conversation.
Obviously this isn't any sort of official confirmation, but considering this is a really awesome idea, it seems likely Blizzard are at the very least discussing it, if not already working on it.

The Warband system is already great, and this would add a lot to it for players that choose to go solo into dungeons, as it would give them even more motivation to get some great characters in their Warband - even if it was just a cosmetic option.
So, what do you think, will we be seeing this feature when the War Within launches?
