Heritage Armor Fan Concepts: Orc, Human, Night Elf, Forsaken

Sercan Özyurt is back, or rather never stopped, as he's created more awesome armor concepts, after some great work with Druid forms and the previous Old God themed sets. This time around he's taking a look at the base races and potential heritage armors for them, with some pretty great results! We get to see Orcs, Humans Forsaken and Night Elves, and get some commentary for each as well.

Here is my Heritage Armor Concept based on Legendary Orc Hero Rehgar Earthfury. Why Rehgar? Rehgar was a successful gladiator slave master who "owned" Varian Wrynn while he was suffering from amnesia. Also His armor pieces fits for all classes for orcs. I tried to draw armors More iconic heroes like thrall, drekthar, saurfang, nazgrel etc. But they are so class specific. A mage can't wear doom hammer plates. It doesn't fit to class fantasy. I decided to release rehgar armor suit with some upgrades. I hope you like it.
Note: Origins of Orcs came from shamanism. I was inspired draenor orc's shamanism & warcraft 3 shaman culture for that armor.

Here is my Heritage Armor Concept based on Legendary Human Hero, Savior, Champion Anduin Lothar. Sir Anduin Lothar, the Lion of Azeroth, was the last true descendant of the ancient Arathi bloodline, a knight champion of the Kingdom of Azeroth (later known as the Kingdom of Stormwind) during the First War, and the supreme commander of the armies of the Alliance of Lordaeron during the Second War. He perished in combat at the base of Blackrock Mountain just before the end of the Second War and the closing of the Dark Portal. He is considered one of the greatest warriors of all time.
I designed armor based on Anduin Lothar for Heritage Armor. I hope you like it.
Also Huge backpack is a part of Shoulder piece (Not cloak slot) This is my solution for huge cloaks.

Here is my Heritage Armor for Forsakens/Undeads! Banshee Queen left their people and forsaken rules are changed forever. They were weak, they were abondoned. But they are masters of Plague! They are blight spreaders, engineers, mad siencists! And I decided to make heritage armor based on their powerful weapon ''Blight''
They can breath blight without any damage, so they craft blight suits to become monstrous warriors!
Edit: Also not add so many glow effects to this one.
I hope you like it!

I designed Night Elf Heritage armor based on most iconic themes of Night Elves. In my custom scenario: Player helps maiev's journey to become night warrior for finding Tyrande at Maw. Maiev Shadowsong Transforms to Night warrior and his appearence changed and player earns new armor.
I hope you like it!

You can check out different color variations and more over on Sercan's Artstation!

I really don't want to be that guy, However i think horde version are really really bad.

Forsaken one looks like some rework of monk/dk set, and orc one is just bad

Night elf is 11/10

Whilst the NE one looks amazing I don't think it fits as heritage armour. The Wardens are a tiny group amongst a very specialized sect and whilst the design may be iconic it's used exclusively for them. It's a unique style that serves as a uniform and in no way represents the Night Elf aesthetic as a whole. It's odd to me that for Orcs he went out of his way to make a set that could work for any class that draws on inspiration from their culture and society as a whole, and then went with Warden armour for Night Elves.

Agree, it resembles something themed about just one specialized faction of night elves. Orcish one still looks too much like a set for a shaman class, imo. It needs to look like something more universal. Also, I'm not a fan of those "neons", this includes the Forsaken one. No reason for them to glow like this, just doesn't fit the overall design.

There are versions without the glow as well, I just picked the one with the most details, so that part is on me!

Some  of them look great, but I don't think the Night Elf one or the Undead one have that heritage feel to them. They look more like really nice tier sets.

Final Fantasy XIV Director Naoki Yoshida gave a thoughtful speech about the perceived rivalry between World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy.
Naoki doesn't appreciate people dunking on WoW, according to PC Gamer. "Without World of Warcraft, A Realm Reborn wouldn't exist. World of Warcraft was the game we constantly looked up to," Yoshida said.
He also said that their goal was to recreate a Final Fantasy version of WoW, so claiming one game won over the other is "off the base".
Yoshida also touched upon the subject of subscriber counts, claiming "there's no way" Square Enix could compete with WoW's peak 12 million paid subscribers.
There's a video of Yoshida talking about World of Warcraft. It has been translated by blluist. You must enable subtitles for the translation.

It's time to look at Mythic DPS popularity in Shadowlands Season 2.
DATA RELIABILITY: The data used in this article comes from benched.me. Reddit user OtherwiseUniversity7 plotted all keys available from the Blizzard API (excluding the CN region) on a single ridge plot to gather the data.
This Week's Affixes (Week of July 27)
The following affixes are active this week.
Fortified Bolstering Quaking Tormented Total Runs Recorded
Here are all the runs recorded since Mythic Season 2 started. We use the data further to determine the most popular ranged and melee DPS specializations.

Most Popular Melee DPS for Mythic+
The most popular melee DPS with over 730K runs is Havoc Demon Hunter. The second is Fury Warrior (527K runs). The third is Outlaw Rogue (339K runs). The least popular melee DPS is Survival Hunter with just 58K runs completed so far in Season 2.
      1st: Havoc Demon Hunter - 737,977 runs 2nd: Fury Warrior - 527,147 runs 3rd: Outlaw Rogue - 339,161 runs 4th: Windwalker Monk - 330,379 runs 5th: Unholy Death Knight - 276,603 runs 6th: Retribution Paladin - 228,426 runs 7th: Arms Warrior - 184,792 runs 8th: Assassination Rogue - 154,780 runs 9th: Enhancement Shaman - 144,617 runs 10th: Subtlety Rogue - 144,495 runs 11th: Frost Death Knight - 101,389 runs 12th: Feral Druid - 64,595 runs 13th: Survival Hunter - 58,256 runs Detailed Look at Spec Performance
The meta starts kicking in once rewards are no longer relevant. In other words, when you pass the level needed for the Great Vault reward. That's where casuals stop playing, and dedicated pushers (and the metaclasses they play) take over the population.
Certain non-meta specializations stay stable (or even gain share) in mid-range keys.

Total Runs By Spec and Key Level

Most Popular Ranged DPS for Mythic+
The most popular ranged DPS so far is Frost Mage, followed by Marksmanship Hunter, and Balance Druid. The least favorite one is Affliction Warlock. You can find the exact numbers below.
      1st: Frost Mage - 746,864 runs 2nd: Marksmanship Hunter - 648,809 runs 3rd: Balance Druid - 608,162 runs 4th: Elemental Shaman - 585,175 runs 5th: Beast Mastery Hunter - 514,754 runs 6th: Destruction Warlock - 450,786 runs 7th: Shadow Priest - 336,225 runs 8th: Arcane Mage - 225,185 runs 9th: Fire Mage - 138,025 runs 10th: Demonology Warlock - 114,557 runs 11th: Affliction Warlock - 73,845 runs Detailed Look at Spec Performance

We have a very classic MS paint map and route for the Korthia rift treasures, as asder34s and his fellow redditors share their favorite/optimal ways of checking all the spots!
In the tried and true tradition of just throwing something together in paint, here's the masterpiece in red:

We also have some additional helpful comments and tips if you're going to be trying this out:
On getting from point 2 to 3:
Hearthstone or wormhole, then run. - asder34s

On an alternate route within this one:
Alternatively, you can goblin glider from 2 to 7 and then head over to 5. - PurplePudding

On the chest on the island:
As far as I can tell. You wanna start on the island always if you can to kill Yorik too. - PurplePudding
While this may not be the perfect or ultimate route, it's better than just running around aimlessly hoping to bump into one. Let us know if it helped!

Darkmoon Faire has returned for a week! Make sure to use the +10% reputation/experience buff, and don't forget about Profession skill-up quests too!
      10% WHEE! Buff
The buff increases Experience and Reputation gains by 10% for 1 hour, and we recommend you to turn in weekly quests only after you have the buff for extra reputation. The buff's great for farming reputation beyond Exalted for Paragon reputation rewards.
The buff also increases reputation gains with the Death's Advance faction located in Korthia. Unfortunately, it won't work with The Archivist's Codex faction.
      Profession Quests
If you're still missing skill points to max out your Professions, do note that the Darkmoon Faire Profession quests can grant you 5 skill points, so head over to Darkmoon Island to get them.
      Inky Black Potions
Don't forget to stock up on Inky Black Potion to enjoy dark mode in Shadowlands and other regions! Here's a showcase of Bastion. Image courtesy of Reddit user nasKo_zomboid.

Head over to our Darkmoon Faire guide to learn more about the event!
