Warlords of Draenor Alpha Patch Notes Major Update

The Warlords of Draenor Alpha Patch Notes were just recently revised to reflect the latest build, and there are monumental changes! Nearly every section of the extremely extensive patch notes have been updated, including some much anticipated changes previously mentioned or hinted at by Blizzard CMs and developers. Most notable class changes this build include the massive rework of the Druid's Balance specialization, substantional improvements to the Arms and Fury specializations for Warriors, modification to burst cooldown abilities for Hunters and tons of additions (and subtractions) from other classes.

Artcraft - Cosmetic Class Accessories

The latest entry in Blizzard's Artcraft series features senior art director Chris Robinson sharing a look at an excellent visual feature they'd like to add in the future: cosmetic class accessories. It's been quite some time since Blizzard removed the extra item slot from Hunters, Shamans, Druids and Paladins, one that previous held a class-specific accessory such as a Libram or Quiver. Blizzard is currently early in the concept phase of bringing these items back in order to add that special flavor back into the game. They've shared some concept art of a few examples, and have mentioned that they have a "lot of ideas" for accessories for all classes! There's no limit to the customization options! Be sure to check out this super-early look at a potential future WoW feature! The more we can transmog, the better! Check out this concept on the official World of Warcraft blog!

Azeroth Choppers Episode, Plus Merch and Voting!

The latest episode of the Azeroth Choppers webseries has been posted! The teams have just arrived at Blizzard to meet with the art departments to get to work at putting the winning bike in-game! Ready for your in-game mount? Voting will begin on May 29th when Episode 7 airs, and the winning faction's mount will make it in-game! Did we mention that the mount will be free? Of course, I'd assume we'll actually see both mounts in-game, but may the best side win! Blizzard has also added Azeroth Choppers shirts to their store, so check it out if that's your thing!

Filming of the Warcraft Movie Finished

They're making a Warcraft movie, remember? They've kept nearly every detail of the upcoming Warcraft movie tight under wraps, but the movie's director Duncan Jones has just tweeted today that the movie is done filming! It will spend quite some time in post-processing before its scheduled release on March 11, 2016, but maybe we'll finally start seeing some details over the next two years! There's only been one photo from the set leaked from its 123 day filming. Give us something to be excited about already!

The 7.2.5 class changes are ongoing and the next big thing to get hit is Draught of Souls, but only for Arms and Fury Warriors as it was over-performing. 40% sounds like a lot, but there will be some compensation for the nerf, however, as Fury gets a 5% buff overall and Arms is in the middle of some mechanics changes so it'll definitely get back to even as well.
      Kaivax (source)
For Arms and Fury Warriors, we’re going to scale down the damage of Draught of Souls in the next build for the 7.2.5 PTR.
Specifically, we’re aiming for a roughly 40% reduction in the effectiveness of Draught of Souls. For those two specs, it’s a trinket that is extremely valuable due to its interaction with Battle Cry. We’ve already tuned other forthcoming on-use trinkets that drop in Tomb of Sargeras for Arms and Fury with the same modifier to compensate for Battle Cry’s effectiveness in boosting trinkets of this kind. Our goal is for new trinkets to have more similar power levels between various specs, while leaving Draught of Souls in a place where it remains competitive for Arms and Fury.
We’re making sure to consider this trinket change as we update Warriors in Patch 7.2.5. With this in mind, Fury damage has been increased by 5% across the board. Arms is currently in the middle of receiving some heavy mechanical changes which will require a deeper look into their overall performance, and we’ll account for this change when we do our final tuning.
We don’t want Draught of Souls to define DPS Warriors for the remainder of the expansion, but we do want Warriors who have one to be able to make good use of it as they progress through Tomb of Sargeras.
Thank you for all of your feedback!

<Brood Theory> (10/10 H) is a progression-focused raiding guild looking for exceptional RDPS and a healer for Tomb of Sargeras and eventually, mythic progression. We raid Tuesdays and Thursdays (10pm-1am EST). Our raid nights consist of farming heroic NH and doing mythic +’s, but when Tomb comes out, we will be using those nights for serious progression. We are hoping to come back to mythic NH and eventually push mythic Tomb. Typically, the guild adds Wednesday (10pm-1am EST) as a farm night for gearing alts and hosting carry runs in order to stock up the guild bank for our raiders. However, we are currently using Tuesdays to do this, but this is subject to change during progression-focused times. We allow 750g in repairs a day for our raiders, and we provide you with free flasks, feasts, gems, enchants, and potions if needed.

      Requirements:
      Voice:
      Discord

      Add-ons:
      RC Loot Council
      Exorsus Raid Tools
      Deadly Boss Mods
      Skada/Recount

At least a 4-piece set bonus from NH.
Be familiar with class itemization and DPS SIMS.
Watch videos of fights before coming to raid and follow mechanics (Will be posted in our Discord).
Be on time and ready to enter a mature, but friendly raiding environment.

Casuals also welcome and encouraged to help build the guild community and atmosphere. We are looking for more like-minded and friendly individuals to join us for different guild events, contests, and etc. Our Discord server is a place where gamers of many different games (WoW, LoL, Overwatch, etc.) can come together, meet new people, and have a great time.

So, if you are looking to progress through mythic content or just relax and be a part of a friendly atmosphere, Brood Theory may be for you!

We are looking forward to hearing from you!

In Patch 7.2.5, players will be able to upgrade their Legendary items to item level 970. The system is exactly the same as it was in 7.1.5. To upgrade existing Legendaries, you'll have to complete a new quest and gather 50 Writhing Essences to get Stabilized Titan Essence. Legendary items that drop after 7.2.5 goes live will have item level 970 by default.
The quest is started by looting Spoiled Sample from the weekly Order Hall Cache. On PTR, you can start the quest directly from within the Suggested Contents tab of Adventurer's Journal.
      The Spoiled Sample
<You pick up a vial of thick, inky liquid. Its contents react to your touch, boiling and popping furiously for a moment before settling down into a persistent glow. The substance resembles arcwine in this form, but the reaction reminds you of the breakdown of obliterum.

You tuck the vial in your bags. Someone in Dalaran familiar with the obliterum forge might know more.> Unsettled Power
The release of the energy previously trapped in the Nightwell has... complicated the influence of Aman'Thul scattered about the Broken Isles. Sadly, the results of my previous work have been invalidated, much like the contents of this vial.

I must understand what has caused this change! Please, bring me more samples so that I may continue my work. It goes without saying that you will be the beneficiary of any breakthroughs I may find. In Patch 7.1.5, players had to complete a similar quest, where they had to gather 50 Essences of Aman'Thul to acquire Distilled Titan Essence and upgrade existing Legendary items to item level 940. Essences dropped from emissary caches or Mythic+ chests.
Currently there are no plans to increase the cap of Legendary items you can equip in Patch 7.2.5, but it may be raised in the future (maybe in Patch 7.3).
