Good day people of the forums!
Heavy Metal Gaming (Kel'thuzad) is a 2 day, casual guild looking to recruit a few more to round out our roster, and looking ahead to Battle for Azeroth.
Although we are casual, the roster is made up of exceptional players, and we are looking for like-minded/skilled players that are vocal in discord, and engage with the rest of the guild.
The guild and group is made up of friends that have been gaming together for 10+ years. Many of us previously raiding in Top 50 guilds during TBC, WoTLK, and Cata.
For Legion we are AOTC for all raid content.
We are looking for:
Tuesday & Wednesday 7-10PM MST
If you are interested in a laid back guild, but still want to crush raids please respond to this thread, or feel free to add me:
in game: Deadly#1230
Or on discord: Deadly#2239
I seem to struggle to get better DPS. I figured out that i used chaos strike and blade dance to less. and i should use less Throw glaive and fellrush.
But i stil seem to have trouble getting my dps on. Please take a look on the logs at the 14th.
I really dislike using the "eye beam build" (it feel slow to me) so i still use the 2221311 build.
Thanks already for helping / reading!
P.s. i have all legendary's
First off, I absolutely adore this class and especially the brewmaster theme, but I'm just not making good use of it. I'm also not very good or knowledgable at it, so please excuse my stupidity in this ramble :P
With other tanks, I always feel like I'm in control. I have abilities that easily gather all enemies to me, but it's so different with the monk. If we're not counting the artifact weapon's special ability (since you spend at least 98 levels without it), I basically have a single proper AoE attack, being the Keg Smash. Compared to other tanks' abilites like Thunder Clap, Blood Boil, etc., I feel like Keg Smash is absolutely terrible. It has a much smaller radius, so I always have to run around and try to herd groups into tight bunches before I can effect all of them. If I'm completely surrounded by enemies within melee range, I feel like I'm lucky if I hit even a third of them with the splash, and so often I have to run around and tag drifters with melee attacks. I'm really jealous of the other classes' spells that are centered on the caster or placeable.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this a common problem? I know I have the Provoke ability as well, but being a single target spell with an 8 second cooldown, it doesn't really help my problem much. I really want to make my monk work, but I feel completely at a loss in dungeons and raids sometimes, and I always fall back to my prot paladin just because I feel like I'm doing an awful job with my monk.
Pleeease show me how I'm being an idiot and how the brewmaster is actually a competent tank!

Sick of pugging, looking for heroic progression, wanting to get into the guild raiding scene or just want an active discord to have a laugh in? Fepix could be the guild for you!
Fepix is heroic raiding guild founded and run by a group of friends. Every Tier our main aim is to get curve while we also hope to give guildies an introduction into guild raiding, or to just help them gear up in our weekly normal farm run.
Normal raiding: (20:00-23:00 realm time Friday)
Our normal runs have no requirements other than fairly relevant gear (910ish for normal antorus), the willingness to listen to and learn from the raid leader and the other experienced raiders there and a good sense of humor! Those that attend the normal runs have the ability to progress to the heroic team if they show the qualities we look for in a heroic raider.
Heroic Raiding: (20:00-23:00 realm time Sunday and Monday)
For our Heroic Progression team, we look for:
Reliability - the ability to have high attendance to raids, to arrive promptly at raid time, and should something come up that would stop you attending, to let an officer know ahead of raid time.
Adaptability – the ability to learn from mechanical mistakes and to show a bit of initiative in encounters to make those small plays that go above the norm that could potentially aid in the raid's success.
A laid-back personality – the ability to remain calm when you make or others make mistakes.
An off spec – Although this isn't necessary, it will make you slightly more valuable to the raid if you can play an interchangeable role based on the attendance of that raid or the demands of the encounter.
We are always open to applications from heroic raiders, people wanting to get into the raiding scene for the first time or people just sick of pugging and wanting a community of people to do content with.
We are hoping to bolster our raid team in preparation for BFA where we will continue with the same aims and system.
If you are interested in applying please message one of our recruiting officers on either discord or battle.net:

Kings of Winter are looking to start raiding again after a break at a casual and steady pace! We are a small, close-knit guild at the moment and we are looking for reliable and dedicated players willing to do current raid content on heroic difficulty in a friendly and a relaxed atmosphere. It will take us some time to form because we have just started recruiting but we'd be happy to have you if you are patient enough.
That being said, we are also gladly accepting people who would just like to socialize and hang out, and also the players interested in PvP and regular guild keystone runs (as PvE is our main goal).
The players we are looking for:
-Players who are patient enough for the guild to develop and form
-Friendly and mature
-Dedicated, eager to improve and reliable raid attendance
Rules and expectations:
-Don't be a douche
-Be 10-15 minutes online earlier, with consumables (at one point they will be provided by the guild)
-Subdue absence in raids to a minimum
-Let the guild know when you cannot attend the raid
-If you aren't very skilled it is alright as long as you are eager to improve, the guild will be glad to help you out if you can help yourself :)
-Join voice communications is a must in raids
We aim at doing current raid content at the Heroic difficulty, but start preparing in Normal while we gear up and get familiar with the raid and it's tactics. We also seek to have players do an occasional keystone run for some gear outside the raid; all that in a friendly environment :)
So far we have raided 2 nights a week with a 3rd casual/ fun run. Raiding schedule is yet to be decided with the guild, as we are starting anew.
Last but not least:
Forming a raid team and developing the guild in general will be a slow and steady process, and for that reason we are looking for dedicated, patient players as ourselves while we form up.
I really hope I will hear from you guys soon and that you will join our small and friendly community whether you wish to raid or just socialize, as the game will be more fun for everyone when there's company!
My btag is Flogency#2183 should you decide to contact me :)
