Old BlizzCon Video and Ghostcrawler's Apology for It

We have another old Blizzard employee joining in on the commentary surrounding the Activision Blizzard lawsuit, as former Lead Systems Designer Greg "Ghostcrawler" Street offered his thoughts on the matter.

More specifically, there's an old 2010 BlizzCon WoW Q&A video clip that's been posted to reddit and received a lot of attention, which was pointed to as being related to the issues/atmosphere alleged in the lawsuit, and while Street barely even said anything in it, he still thought he should explain the situation and apologize.

As he was then asked directly about the situation at Blizzard at the time relating to the lawsuit, he also responded:

You can read even more replies in this thread.

Imagine apologizing for a joke over a decade old. This just sad. He should have just said nothing or mocked the idiots demanding the apology

Apologizing doesn't even do anything nowadays. It just shows the people whining that they are correct and then they start coming after you even harder. There is no such thing as forgiveness these days so why bother?

Pretty nice to see. He could have said nothing, but he apologised, and i think that's worth something and might help this kind of situations occur less for women in the industry.

And how would any of that do anything to further our decission making? Everything coming to change in society starts with people recognizing a problem. A lot of people will not see things as a problem unless famous people say it is.

Of course we could demand that everyone use their own head, but we have been doing that for the past 60 years on this issue and it hasn't gotten to a point where it's satisfactory. So talking about these things is mandatory to further our society into a better direction, in this case not making sexist jokes just because 'I like how these characters look'.

That's not sad, that's personal development and viewing things from another angel. Apologizing is an expression of feeling. If it's felt it's okay to articulate.

You know what's kinda stupid and shortsighted about their answer? Mists of Pandaria was in development in 2010. They, at the very least, knew pandarens were going to be a playable race. They could have easier said "Come back next year and see for yourself" and that would have blown the roof off the convention. Instead, they got petty.

He didn't really apologize, he shouldn't have apologized, he was just forced to make up an apology so the sjw's would have more ground for hunting and smearing him.

The only rule of cancer platforms such as twitter or reddit is to never apologize, identify PC culture and SJWs, ignore them, block them, kick them out of your projects.

If you plan on buying the physical War Within Collector's Edition and live in Europe, you're going to have a bad time!
Blizzard has ceased distributing WoW Collector's Editions through retailers with the release of Dragonflight, making the Blizzard Store the only place to buy them. However, the shipping costs could be a dealbreaker for many collectors eager to acquire the latest edition for the upcoming expansion.
Reddit user katamai from Serbia posted a screenshot of their order, revealing that the shipping fees exceed the cost of the box itself—280 Euros for shipping compared to 200 Euros for the box, totaling 480 Euros.

Additionally, Emi, a follower on our Facebook page, reported a shipping cost of 99 Euros to Romania, nearly ten times what it costs to ship to the UK.

A practical workaround might be to order the Collector's Edition to a UK address and then use a shipping service to forward it to your address in Europe, potentially saving a considerable amount of money.
How much does it cost to ship the box to your country?

We've already talked about and taken a first look at the Delve-specific mount coming in the War Within, but now it's time to check out all of its customization options!
LeystTV has delved into the mount and shown off all the options, from the different colors to nose, wing, thruster, and top customizations, with glider, blimp, helicopter looks and more! There's even different versions of Horde and Alliance decals to choose from!

And these may not even be all the options present at launch, not to mention new ones Blizzard might add with later patches, making this one of the cooler mounts in the game.
