Teldrassil Animated Wallpaper Engine and Fan Art (Both During and Pre-Burning)

Recommended Posts

We have two really well done wallpapers to take a look at today, one during Teldrassil's darkest hour and one during its glory days. I'll let you guess which one of the two got the animation treatment.

The fateful moment the storyline we're currently on (arguably) reached its point of no return is depicted with a very nice animation from VaultBoee, with a Wallpaper Engine version ready to grab! (Don't worry about the dizzying screen shake/mouse movement, that's just from the gif encoding - the actual wallpaper is normal.)

And after this overload of animation and movement, we have a much more calm and peaceful rendition of the Night Elves' former home, as artist Aobo Wang captured its magnificence perfectly.

Hopefully there is some resolution to the Night Elves storyline soon, aside from the not-quite-popular recent Elune cinematic, and the race can get a proper new home before the end of the expansion.

I feel like having it rotate clockwise is a bit much and would be super annoying to have as a wallpaper.  If it stayed stationary it would be hella dope to have as a background.

Night Elves still retain Hyjal and some surrounding areas. Not sure about Forsaken, they might still have some holdings in Silverpine, perhaps somewhere else too, but there is no current information about these.

In their continued effort to remove inappropriate references from the game, Blizzard desexualized two paintings in this week's Patch 9.1.5 Build 40196.
The first in-game painting of a woman was completely replaced with a fruit painting. We compare both paintings below.
      Old 9.1.0 Painting

      New 9.1.5 Painting

The second painting is an update that adds more armor and fidelity.
      Old 9.1.0 Painting

      New 9.1.5 Painting

Blizzard continues to remove inappropriate references from the game. In Patch 9.1.5 alone, they renamed multiple achievements, Mac'Aree to Eredath, and more.
