Sanctum of Domination Mythic and Heroic DPS Log Rankings, Week 4: A Look At Individual Bosses

Recommended Posts

This week we're changing things up a little, and we'll be taking a look at a few specific bosses on Mythic, as the overall Sanctum Mythic numbers still aren't quite there for a really solid look at the real situation. We'll still check out both the Mythic and Heroic overall rankings as well though.

Heroic Rankings

Starting with the stable ones, where many, many guilds have actually cleared the Sanctum all the way through, we see the top 5 keep the same specs, with Subtlety jumping into 2nd and Arcane falling to 4th. The biggest mover here is Shadow, rising 6 spots to just outside the top 5, as Havoc and Assassination drop a couple of places.

In the all percentiles bracket we see Balance rising up as well, pushing its fellow Feral down a few spots. Unholy and Destruction are actually doing a lot better here compared to the past few weeks as well.

Mythic Rankings

We'll only be taking a look at the all percentiles bracket here, since the numbers aren't quite there yet and to make some room for the bosses. While Affliction may still be at the top, it's a VERY deceiving stat, as only 235 logs were recorded, so only a handful of very good players would (and did) affect it. Windwalkers have some better numbers here, however, with over 2800 logs, but Survival is even worse than Affliction in this case, with its 79 players bringing the spec up into 3rd place. Arms is VERY well represented, second only to Balance with its 10,000+ logs, followed by Destruction, Frost and Marksmanship.

Mythic Bosses

And now we're on to the fun part, as we take a look at a few specific bosses. Do note that since these are individual bosses, there will be MUCH fewer logs present, especially as we climb towards the end of the Sanctum. We'll start with the Eye of the Jailer and The Nine, as they actually have a pretty solid amount of logs, with over 1000 guilds having downed them.

The we're on to the more difficult bosses, where the log numbers drop off a cliff right after the first three bosses. Comparatively, for The Nine we had a peak of 2250 logs for once spec, while for the Remnant of Ner'zhul, the peak is at 1150 and the overall numbers are incredibly smaller as well.

And now it's time for some real pain, as Painsmith Raznal caps out at 217 logs, with a couple of specs having around 1-2 entries to represent them! This boss is going to be a pretty huge wall for most Mythic guilds for a long time still it seems.

As always, if you want even more info on a spec, you can check out our class guides here, or for even more data, head on over to Warcraft Logs.

Undaunted, the deaf and hard-of-hearing Warcraft guild, have completed Ahead of the Curve: Sylvanas Windrunner. Congratulations!
Undaunted is at it again! The guild earned AotC Denathrius and cleared 3/10 Mythic Castle Nathria on March 26, 2021. Yesterday, a post on Reddit revealed that they now downed Sylvanas on Heroic difficulty. Now, Mythic difficulty awaits. We wish them the best of luck! Here is a screenshot of the guild shared on Reddit.

In something that has now become a new WoW tradition, players have been gathering to celebrate the end of Summer as we now have a very thematic seasonal clock in the game! The circle is complete as we've now seen all 4 variations of the mount in-game as well.
While WoW is pretty static when it comes to seasons and, well, time in general, we now have a really cool connection to the real world in the form of the Wandering Ancient tree mount, so we'll be seeing gatherings like these below a lot!

      Source: Galaxy_119.
And some will be showing the tree off in its natural habitat, proving that even ancients can be VERY stealthy in the right conditions:

      Source: drinnster.
The Wandering Ancient is really awesome and adds extra interactivity and "feel" of the world - definitely one of the better additions to WoW in recent memory and we hope to see these little changing of seasons rituals continue on forever!
In case you're new or missed when the mount arrived, it should be in your mount collection tab already as  gift if you have Shadowlands purchased, now head on out there and showcase the new Fall colors!
