Sanctum of Domination Mythic and Heroic DPS Log Rankings, Week 5: It's a Windwalker Mythic World

We're flipping it! While Mythic is not the perfectly reliable source of stats quite yet, we now have almost 80 guilds that have fully cleared the Sanctum on it's highest difficulty, so we'll be taking a look at the Mythic stats first from now on. You should still look to Heroic a the bottom of the article for some more solid data, but we'll be following Mythic's changes as more and more guilds down Sylvanas.

Mythic Rankings

Again, to note one more time the numbers aren't quite there yet in Mythic and the rankings will be skewed towards the earlier bosses, but since that's where the majority of the Mythic raiding community is anyway, it's still going to be interesting and relevant to follow.

And speaking of interesting, we have some major changes from the past weeks at the top here, with Windwalkers taking off and moving into first place, and by quite a solid margin as well! Elemental has risen an insane amount as well, jumping into No.2 from the middle of the pack as more players gain access to a wider encounter variety. Arms is now also in the top 3, same as in Heroic, so that's a very safe bet for a long-running powerful spec in the Sanctum, with Affliction dropping down (albeit slowly) as we move past the initial few bosses where it was dominating proceedings. Rogues have gone down to the middle of the pack to join Retri and Frost Mages/DKs, and the bottom once again belongs to Survival.

The all percentiles bracket changes more slowly, but we see the same trends here as in the top, with Affliction hanging on a bit longer and staying in 2nd. Rogues and Outlaw specifically have also stuck around the top here, with Frost DKs actually rising even higher here than in the top rankings. Fire remains very unpopular in raids, as Enhancement claims the bottom spot.

Heroic Rankings

Heroic is where the stable data is, however, and that's very evident here as the top 5 remains the same, with Arms swapping with Subtlety for 2nd place. Marksmanship sneaks into 10th, rising along with Frost Mage. Windwalkers aren't quite as popular/powerful here, settling in the lower part of the middle of the pack, and Elemental is actually moving down the ladder instead of up like in Mythic.

No changes at all in the top 5, but we do see Shadow jump ahead of Feral, with the rest of the rankings looking very similar to last week, which is to be expected as the all percentiles Heroic bracket will always be the most stable/slow to move, with so many more players in it.

As always, if you want even more info on a spec, you can check out our class guides here, or for even more data, head on over to Warcraft Logs.

In their continued effort to remove inappropriate references from the game, Blizzard desexualized two paintings in this week's Patch 9.1.5 Build 40196.
The first in-game painting of a woman was completely replaced with a fruit painting. We compare both paintings below.

      New 9.1.5 Painting

The second painting is an update that adds more armor and fidelity.

Blizzard continues to remove inappropriate references from the game. In Patch 9.1.5 alone, they renamed multiple achievements, Mac'Aree to Eredath, and more.
