The Burning Crusade Classic Patch 2.5.2 Build 39757 revealed a new file that hints at Patch 9.1.5, so it's more than certain we will see a minor patch before Patch 9.2.

The diff between Burning Crusade Classic builds 39688 > 39757 revealed a new entry in the ManifestInterfaceData database table, referencing a file called "Deprecated_9_1_5.lua". It contains information about LUA functions that will be deprecated in Patch 9.1.5.

-- These are functions that were deprecated in 9.1.5, and will be removed in the next expansion.
-- Please upgrade to the updated APIs as soon as possible.

if not IsPublicBuild() then
	return;
end

-- Tooltips have moved to use the NineSlicePanel interface. Some old functionality remains (see SharedXML\SharedTooltipTemplates.lua)
do
	-- These functions are no longer meaningful
	TooltipBackdropTemplateMixin.OnBackdropLoaded = function() end;
	TooltipBackdropTemplateMixin.OnBackdropSizeChanged = function() end;
	TooltipBackdropTemplateMixin.GetEdgeSize = function() return 0 end;
	TooltipBackdropTemplateMixin.GetBackdropCoordValue = function() return 0 end;
	TooltipBackdropTemplateMixin.SetupTextureCoordinates = function() end;
	TooltipBackdropTemplateMixin.SetupPieceVisuals = function() end;
	TooltipBackdropTemplateMixin.HasBackdropInfo = function() return false end;
	TooltipBackdropTemplateMixin.GetBackdrop = function() return nil end;

	-- These functions will just apply the default backdrop and show the artwork
	TooltipBackdropTemplateMixin.ApplyBackdrop = function(self)
		local layout = NineSliceUtil.GetLayout("TooltipDefaultLayout");
		NineSliceUtil.ApplyLayout(self.NineSlice, layout);
		self.NineSlice:Show();
	end;
	TooltipBackdropTemplateMixin.SetBackdrop = function(self)
		local layout = NineSliceUtil.GetLayout("TooltipDefaultLayout");
		NineSliceUtil.ApplyLayout(self.NineSlice, layout);
		self.NineSlice:Show();
	end;

	-- This function will just hide the artwork
	TooltipBackdropTemplateMixin.ClearBackdrop = function(self)
		self.NineSlice:Hide();
	end;
end

      In their continued effort to remove inappropriate references from the game, Blizzard desexualized two paintings in this week's Patch 9.1.5 Build 40196.
      The first in-game painting of a woman was completely replaced with a fruit painting. We compare both paintings below.
      Old 9.1.0 Painting

      New 9.1.5 Painting

      The second painting is an update that adds more armor and fidelity.
      Old 9.1.0 Painting

      New 9.1.5 Painting

      Blizzard continues to remove inappropriate references from the game. In Patch 9.1.5 alone, they renamed multiple achievements, Mac'Aree to Eredath, and more.
