Hey Spaffs, welcome to Icy-Veins.

 

First thing I see is your bracer enchant.  Although Mastery gems are better than Int gems, that's only because they offer double the secondary stat vs int.  The 180 int enchant still outweighs 170 Mastery.

 

The rest of your gear is great, but do be aware that if you want to continue using Elemental Blast, you should cap out your Mastery at about 87.3%, and then gem Haste.  Below the cap is better than over the cap.  This cap is found by going 100% - (3500 + Purified Bindings amplification).

 

Garrosh unfortunately isn't a great fight for someone to analyze, especially since there are a lot of facets to the different strategies, such as add control and holding cooldowns for certain phases.  It also looks like your guild has been working on him for a little while, so I can't find an alternative log.  I'll dig in regardless.

Lets call this 90% active time, and act like your Flame Shock was your 100% marker.  That means you had 516 active seconds.

 

Your damage layout is pretty good, but Elemental Blast should be a bit higher.  Out of ~40 possible casts, you used it only 27 times.  Elemental Blast is your second priority, the moment it comes up, unless you're currently AoEing.  It's also a great snap spell to use on MCs, if they're not together and you've already used Lava Burst.

 

On the other hand, Flame Shock uptime was good (looking at snippets, around 98%), Fulmination was great (very little wasted procs, only about 15 out of 212), and your Lava Burst is pretty tight.

 

 

If you happened to find another fight that is more stationary, such as Malkorok or Iron Juggernaut, please do post that, and I may be able to come up with more!

Nice pull, good call on the WoL.  Definitely a good parse, and pretty good for their gear level.

 

Tight UE timing, but I'm having difficulty seeing if any Unleash Flame buffs were spent on Flame Shocks.  If there are few or none, that's a pretty great log.

That's probably related to your raid's composition and buffs/debuffs on your target.  Numbers aren't really a thing to look at, instead we should look at how you handle mechanics, and how you carry your rotation.  Your rotation is really good, and I don't see any glaring issues, but if you want someone to be a nitpick, I can do that.

 

First off, Searing Totem.  If it can't be up for the entire duration, you shouldn't cast it.  Those 14 hits it got only gave you 175k, vs your average LB doing minimum 220k.  Not casting it at all is only a ~1-3% DPS loss anyway, so if you're feeling a little bit uncomfortable with it, you can easily ignore it.

 

Secondly, Healing Stream Totem.  Although I commend you for trying to help out the raid, the healing provided by an Eles HST is really low.  I'd avoid it all together unless it's required (for heal throughput or for the debuff).

One last question, is it worth using Earth Ele straight after your fire ele is up? I see some people doing it and some not.

Earth Ele Totem is worth just a little bit more than a Lightning Bolt.  So if you do, just make sure that you wait until you can't do anything except for Lightning Bolt before dropping it.  The same rule applies for Searing Totem, if you want to get that little gain.
