Even though Zereth Mortis flying is still a few weeks away, you can start working on it today. Check out our guide to get started!

Update: it appears one of the side quests for tied to Path to Enlightenment Path to Enlightenment will only be available next week. Thank you to Scrap for confirming.

A Means to an End A Means to an End is the only time-gated achievement tied to Zereth Mortis flying; you'll be able to complete it during Week #3 of Patch 9.2. All the other achievements that are part of the Zereth Mortis flying meta-achievement (Unlocking the Secrets Unlocking the Secrets) can be completed today.

Before we proceed, we recommend you download the TomTom addon that makes everything so much easier when it comes to coordinates in the game. You can install it manually by unzipping and placing it in the _retail_/interface/addons game directory. Make sure to enable the addon on the Character Login Screen.

1. Explore Zereth Mortis Explore Zereth Mortis

To complete this achievement, you must reveal the following covered areas of the world map. This is where TomTom comes in handy. Simply, paste the following coords for each zone in the chat window and follow the arrow until you discover the area and see the achievement complete. Thanks to Sipder for the coordinates.

/way 38 63 The Great Veldt

/way 40 41 Terrace of Formation

/way 57 31 Deserted Overlook

/way 59 22 The Dread Portal

/way 40 72 Genesis Fields

/way 59 51 Pilgrim's Grace

/way 66 36 Arrangement Index

/way 41 31 Zovaal's Grasp

/way 54 47 Plain of Actualization

/way 56 84 Lexical Glade

/way 27 53 Path of Inception

You can also check out Sipder's video below.

2. Adventures in Zereth Mortis Adventures in Zereth Mortis

To complete the achievement, you must defeat 10 unique Rare Elites in Zereth Mortis. This achievement is easy and can be completed while you're working on Explore Zereth Mortis Explore Zereth Mortis. Open the Zereth Mortis map and you will see Rare Elites marked there with a skull icon. Simply, defeat 10 of the special encounters listed below to earn the achievement.

The following rares will count towards completing the achievement:

3. Curious Collections Curious Collections

The achievement can also be completed in tandem with Explore Zereth Mortis Explore Zereth Mortis. You must discovered 5 hidden treasures of Zereth Mortis. Treasures will appear on your mini-map in various locations of Zereth Mortis. Some are hard to reach while others are locked. Try looking for surrounding objects that could help you open them or ways of reaching certain areas with treasure chests. Here is a full list of treasures that count towards completing the achievement:

  • Library Vault
  • Submerged Chest
  • Damaged Jiro Stash
  • Template Archive
  • Forgotten Proto-Vault
  • Symphonic Vault

4. Path to Enlightenment Path to Enlightenment

Complete 3 Zereth Mortis side quests to gain the achievement. Paste the "/way X Y" commands below in the chat window to navigate to the designated quest givers. We assume you have TomTom enabled at this point.

5. Tales of the Exile Tales of the Exile

For the achievement to complete, you must find 8 scrolls scattered around Zereth Mortis. In the latest round of hotfixes, Blizzard made them spawn instantly, so you no longer need to wait for them to appear.

If you have trouble navigating to these areas there are a lot of useful community-uploaded videos on YouTube that will help you complete the achievement, like this one by overhyped.

6. A Means to an End A Means to an End

The following achievement can only be completed during Week 4 of Patch 9.2 when the fifth chapter of the story becomes available. By this time, you will have completed all the above achievements.

We've also updated our Patch 9.2 flying guide, but it may take some time for the update to go live on the site.

Another Trading Post rotation has come, as May brings a lot of flower-themed items, two mounts, two pets, a butterfly back customization, and a lot more. MrGM dives into everything in the Trading Post, including the returning items that were skipped in the official preview.
The Amber Skitterfly is a little bugged in the game at the moment, as it throws up a Lua error when selecting it (with players even reporting not receiving the mount when buying it), but there's plenty more to get, from the Royal Swarmer mount, to a pretty cool cape, and plenty of returning cosmetics as well.
And if you missed it and prefer images instead, you can also check out the official preview here.

Grimtusk Fishing Hole, one of the requirements to unlock Taivan, is available this week on live servers!
Players who are working on unlocking Good Boy's Leash probably know the Grimtusk Fishing Hole has not been available since the first week of Patch 10.2.6. However, it is available now for the whole week, so you can complete it to get credit towards Taking From Nature.

Head to the Fyrakk Assault area in Azure Span (59 34) and complete the Net Worth quest offered by Gruff Fisher.
If you can't see the quest chances are you don't have access to Ice Fishing.
I'm not really an avid fisher myself, but one player suggests you should have the Secret Fishing Spots  first before completing this quest, but those farming Taivan will possibly know.
Ice Fishing (available at Renown 6 with Iskaara Tuskarr) requires you to craft an Iskaaran Ice Axe. To do that, you must loot Pickaxe Blade at 19 24 in Azure Span. If you're using TomTom here are the exact coords where you'll find the item:
      /way #2024 19 24
Check the Wowhead comments section for more details.

Players on live servers are experiencing issues upgrading their legendary weapons to item level 502 after using the scale. Blizzard has acknowledged the bug and is actively working on a fix, though it may take some time to implement.

Just used my Scale to upgrade Fyr’alath for season 4 and I can’t upgrade it past 4/14 Awakened. The upgrade NPC believes it isn’t eligible.
We’re working on this as a priority issue. The fix is going to take some time to implement, however.
      Thank you for your patience.

Blizzard have clarified that the recent concern over addon limitations in Patch 10.2.7 is merely a bug and is being worked on.
      RP Addons (Source)
it’s looking like in 10.2.7 PTR the addon comms (something primarily used for addons like the insanely popular addon TRP3 used by Roleplayers) is going to be severely rate-limited server-side, making them effectively unusable. This is going to disproportionately affect the RP community and Blizzard should have communicated this much earlier in the development cycle.
The author of TRP3 has stated they have been looking for a solution but as of right now, there won’t be one come patch day which will kill the addon and many other addons as well. Blizzard, please roll back these changes!
We’ve identified the bug causing this issue on the PTR, and we’re actively investigating solutions to address it in a future build.

Blizzard is set to introduce modifications to addon communications in Patch 10.2.7 for World of Warcraft, with notable implications for role-playing (RP) addons.
Blizzard has now responded and confirmed the issue is a bug they're actively investigating.
The proposed adjustments will implement stricter server-side rate limiting on addon communications, essential for addons like Total RP 3 that support character role-playing and interactions, as highlighted by keyboardturn on Twitter.
Placeholder for tweet 1785049580230574093 The new rate-limiting measures are expected to slow down these addons, significantly increasing the time required to load profiles—from a few seconds to potentially minutes.
The update is designed to decrease server load and prevent misuse of addon communication systems. However, Blizzard has not provided explicit reasons for these changes, leading to speculation and concerns within the community regarding the lack of detailed communication and consideration for RP enthusiasts.
