In addition to item level 226 catch-up gear for Anima, you can also buy item level 246 gear in Zereth Mortis.

Compared to Anima gear, the tokens are not Bind-to-Account, meaning you cannot send them to alts. Tokens also do not exist for every single slot, namely the Weapon, Off-Hand, Trinket, Amulet, and Ring slots are missing.

You can buy item level 246 gear from Rafiq located in Pilgrim's Grace.

You must gather a lot of Sandworn Relics to afford the gear tokens.

• Helm, Chest, Legs cost 300 Sandworn Relics each.
• Shoulders, Gloves, Boots cost 230 Sandworn Relics each.
• Cloak, Bracers, Belt cost 160 Sandworn Relics each.

Where to Farm Sandworn Relics in Patch 9.2?

You can farm relics in Endless Sands, a Zereth Mortis area reminiscent of Vol'dun. You'll get

• 3-7 Sandworn Relics from Rare Elites.
• 10-25 Sandworn Relics from Treasure Chests.

That's not catch up gear, it's casual world progression gear. I have like 60 frags and I've been farming like 8 hours a day. It's to fill out pieces people are unlucky with getting drops for. Catch up is the 500 anima tokens

I dont know what kind of Chests youre looting but i rarely get them even as loot. And when they drop its like 2-6. Must be my luck

i would say its catch up gear since ilvl increases soon and at this point every active main character should have every piece of gear at ilvl 246 or higher. i reached ilvl 251 on my main on 22.09 (while i was 249 at the beginning of august) and on my 2nd char i hit ilvl 251 on 13.10 (while ilvl 248 at 09.09). i got those dates from raider io season 2 recap it also includes raid (while i only do m+)
