Sepulcher of the First Ones Mythic RWF Summary, Day 12: Lords Down, Rygelon to Go

We'll do a quick summary of day 12, as we already covered the big news, and the rest of the day consisted of a loot of Rygelon pulls.

Echo got right into it in the morning and kept the pressure up on both the Lords of Dread and Liquid, as they showcased that the boss can indeed be taken down with a crazy melee stack and Forgeborne Reveries Forgeborne Reveries shenanigans, with some low % tries, after which Liquid went at it pretty hard as well. As we know, Echo took the World first after a needle-thin 0.75% wipe before that:

We've already covered the kill itself, but here's the full celebration, coming in at pull 62 and putting Echo in the lead in the Sepulcher Race to World First, at 9/11 bosses down.

The kill really got Liquid going as well, as they got a 3% wipe within 10 minutes of it, but cooled down a little after that, as it eventually took them about 3 more hours before getting back up to speed, with a 2% wipe and finally the World 2nd, with a very clean ending due to tan entire Among Us phase being skipped:

The kill came a short while before Echo went off to bed, so we didn't really see the two guilds progress side by side, but the rest of the day was all Rygelon all the time as other guilds progressed on Anduin and Halondrus. But the top 2 were focused in on the penultimate boss of the Sepulcher, just one away from the Jailer, and a very tough one at that. Echo pushed forward first since they started first, getting the constellar down to 61% before calling it a night at 37 pulls:

Liquid had quite a bit more time to spend with Rygelon and managed to push the limits of the boss a lot further, as they ended their day on a pretty solid 45.14% best and 84 pulls:

The big question now remains if Rygelon is staying as is until the reset, when double legendaries might make a bit of a difference, or if there will be some nerfs coming before that, but Scripe certainly has his pick nailed down:

In the morning we also got some more crab action, as both Chao Jie and JiTianHong downed Halondrus, World 8th and 9th, Asia 3rd and 4th, respectively.

So we're not quite sure if we'll get to see the Jailer this reset, as Rygelon in his current form seems very formidable, but we've already seen what happens when we assume about bosses' impossibility!

Executive Producer Holly Longdale teased some upcoming experimental PvE-focused content that Blizzard will soon reveal to the community.
It appears that Plunderstorm isn't the only new mode Blizzard plans to add to WoW this year.
Holly Longdale today teased an upcoming PvE-oriented event that will soon be revealed to us. Holly might be talking about the "Timerunning Pandamonium," expected in Patch 10.2.7.

      Greetings Citizens of Azeroth,
It’s been great seeing so many players taking the plunge into Plunderstorm and we’ve loved seeing all of the stories and feedback as this experimental event evolves. It will be exciting to see some of the community content creators going head-to-head as duos during the Plunderstorm Creator Royale on March 30!  This isn’t the end of the things we want to try in World of Warcraft, however, and we have more in store we can’t wait to show you.
Dragonflight Season 4 is in route as testing begins on the PTR and we’ll have more news to share soon™ on the next experiment we have up our sleeves. We hope those of you who are looking for PvE focused content will enjoy what we’re planning, all while we continue to press forward on development of our next expansion for World of Warcraft— The War Within.
We can’t wait to share with you all the many things the team has been hard at work on.
With gratitude and excitement for what we’ll do together next,
      Holly Longdale
