wow New Arbiter Cinematic in Patch 9.2

This week's Zereth Mortis story chapter includes a new cinematic starring the new Arbiter of Shadowlands. The cinematic contains spoilers.

This sort of terrible writing in game is what happens when a company is more interested in pushing pc garbage at you to fit a narrative than they are in just writing a good story. No one likes or cares about Pelagos. He's boring and annoying, but because blizz needed to push a LGBTQRSTUV character at us, they decided that the big, important part of our patch story would be this lame character becoming super powerful, even though it makes no sense for this weak little nobody to become the ultimate decider of all fates. This moment had zero impact to anyone I've talked to. It's just another "meh" moment in this story.

Your comment reads that you don't like Pelagos specifically because they're trans and are upset that Blizzard made them trans. That's called bigotry. LGBTQ people exist, and by their very existence they deserve to be included in the fictional stories we tell.

That's how you wrongly interpreted my comment. Pelagos was just a flat, awful character. It doesn't change the fact that he existed only because blizz felt the need to put the flavor of the week lefty trend into the game as a major character trait.

Pelagos is not "trans" at all he went from a literal woman to a literal man with soul"magic" so hes now just a "real" dude

No matter who he was or who he is. It's just... A random dude becoming the most important thing in Shadowlands. It's like... While writing the story they forgot that they destroyed Jailer and the automa Arbiter and then realized that they have to put someone in this place. "Oh remember that Pelagos dude only the Kyrian really know about? Let's make him Arbiter!" And then they all POGGED at each other.

Needless to say, I belong in the LGBT label, and I still hated how they promote Pelagos only for being the supposedly first trans character. Also, his "story" is seriously weak, and making him the next Arbiter makes no sense at all.

How is this a "lefty trend"? Or are you one of those people who believe LGBT people are some sort of "ideology"? Plus, as it was mentioned, it was just a magical soul thing, so he's just a man now, not really comparable to the real world. Even his identity was just a flavor text. Not a major character as well, so likely won't appear after this expansion.
