  • Death Knight
    • Unholy
      • [With realm restarts] All damage increased by 5%.
  • Druid
    • Guardian
      • [With realm restarts] (4) Set Bonus: Architect's Aligner now deals reduced damage beyond 5 targets.
Developer note: Architect’s Aligner dealing damage to an uncapped amount of targets was unintended and did not apply the philosophy we introduced earlier in Shadowlands: allowing abilities to hit all targets, but not at full effect. We are implementing a fix in this week’s weekly maintenance to align this bonus with other effects that are similar to it. Additionally, we will be watching its performance and will make additional adjustments if the need arises. Thank you for the feedback regarding this bonus!
  • Feral
    • [With realm restarts] All damage increased by 3%.
    • [With realm restarts] Primal Wrath Primal Wrath damage increased by 10%.
    • [With realm restarts] Brutal Slash Brutal Slash damage increased by 20%.
    • [With realm restarts] Swipe Swipe damage increased by 15%.
    • [With realm restarts] Thrash Thrash damage increased by 20%.
  • Hunter
    • Beast Mastery
      • [With realm restarts] Beast Cleave Beast Cleave now deals reduced damage beyond 8 targets (was 5).
      • [With realm restarts] All damage increased by 3%.
  • Monk
  • Rogue
    • Outlaw
      • [With realm restarts] Blade Flurry Blade Flurry now strikes nearby enemies for 50% of normal damage (was 40%).
  • Shaman
    • Elemental
      • [With realm restarts] All damage increased by 5%.
  • Warlock
    • Destruction
      • [With realm restarts] All damage increased by 5%.
  • Warrior
[With realm restarts] Ignore Pain Ignore Pain now ignores 55% of the damage (was 50%).
    • Protection
      • [With realm restarts] Demoralizing Shout Demoralizing Shout now reduces the damage enemies deal to you by 25% (was 20%).
      • [With realm restarts] Ignore Pain Ignore Pain now reduces the cost of Ignore Pain to 35 Rage (was 40 Rage).
      • [With realm restarts] Spell Reflection Spell Reflection cooldown reduced to 20 seconds (was 25 seconds).
      • [With realm restarts] Vanguard Vanguard reduces all damage taken by 15% (was 10%).

Dungeons and Raids

  • Tazavesh: Streets of Wonder
    • The Grand Menagerie
      • Fixed an issue where Gluttonous Feast could fail to cast at the beginning of The Grand Menagerie encounter in Tazavesh.
  • Sepulcher of the First Ones
    • Skolex, the Insatiable Ravener
      • [With realm restarts] Skolex's health has been reduced by ~6% in Mythic and Heroic difficulties.
    • Dausegne, the Fallen Oracle
      • [With realm restarts] Dausegne’s health has been reduced by ~6% in Heroic difficulty.
      • [With realm restarts] Disintegration Halo vulnerability reduced to 200% in Normal and Raid Finder difficulties.
    • Lords of Dread
      • [With realm restarts] Swarm of Darkness and Swarm of Decay caused by Mal'Ganis' Unto Darkness will now increase all damage taken by 100% rather than only area-of-effect abilities.
Developer note: When originally creating the Unto Darkness and Swarm abilities for the Lords of Dread, the idea was intended to be in the flavor of the dreadlords turning into an actual swarm and being adversely affected by area-of-effect abilities such as Flamestrike. However, the way it played out was that this proved to be very limiting in which classes could perform at a required level for harder difficulties. We're making a change to update the vulnerability from area-of-effect damage to all damage taken so that every damage class can enjoy the phase equally.
  • Rygelon
    • [With realm restarts] Reduced boss health by 5% on Heroic difficulty.
    • [With realm restarts] Reduced the damage of Stellar Decay by 20% on Heroic difficulty.
    • [With realm restarts] Reduced the health of Unstable Quasars by approximately 33% on Heroic difficulty.
    • Fixed an issue with Corrupted Wound’s spell description in the Dungeon Journal. Functionality remains unchanged.
  • The Jailer
    • Fixed an issue with Diverted Life Shield's spell description that caused it to display the improper amount of healing. It will now properly show it heals 2% per tick.

Zereth Mortis

Items and Rewards

  • The Optional Reagent slot for Legendary Crafting can now also be unlocked by completing the campaign quest “The Crown of Wills”.
  • Players must now be on the ground to activate the Personal Containment Trap Personal Containment Trap Toy.
  • Certified Vouchsafe Certified Vouchsafe's cast bar can now be interrupted by moving your character.
  • Cache of Acquired Treasures Cache of Acquired Treasures will now begin cycling the weapons you can rummage through just before it comes off cooldown.
  • Cosmic Gladiator's Eternal Aegis Cosmic Gladiator's Eternal Aegis - Corrected an issue that could cause the absorb shield to incorrectly fully absorb large single attacks that exceed the remaining absorb amount.

  • Characters who experienced a bug which prevented the achievement "Renowned Renowned" from being earned should now properly earn their achievement upon login if they have 80 Renown.

Pet Battles

  • You can now properly queue for a pet battle with the "Find Battle" button while in Zereth Mortis.

Player versus Player

  • War Mode
    • In War Mode, Kbato's damage versus other player's Kbatos in the "Knocking On Death's Door" quest has been reduced.
  • Shaman
    • Fixed an issue that allowed Chain Heal Chain Heal to heal vehicles in battlegrounds.
  • Thanks 1

Last week we made the big switch to focus on Mythic logs and today we're going to be taking a look at the tank and healer situation in the maximum difficulty for the Sepulcher, as well as our usual DPS roundup.
      95th Percentile
Destruction moves even further ahead in Mythic this week, as we see some additional movement in the top 3, with Frost DK dropping 2 spots to Demonology and Survival. There's actually been a lot of 2-spot moves this week, starting with Windwalker's rise to 6th, moving past Elemental and Retribution, who are having a bad week as Unholy also slapped them both down to move into 8th, but at least they stay in the top 10 (and swap places). Havoc remains firm at No.10, with Frost taking the Mage crown and finishing the week in 11th. The bottom remains much the same, with only Assassination managing to crawl out of there, rising 5 spots!

95th percentile Mythic data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
A very firm top 5 in the generalist bracket as we see no changes from  last week, but then a bit of a reverse from the high percentiles as Unholy drops 1 spot to Marksmanship. Havoc is just as stable here, but a little bit higher up, with Windwalker and Retribution closing out the top 10.

All percentiles Mythic data by Warcraft Logs.
      Tank DPS and Healer HPS
While tank DPS isn't exactly the most crucial stat there is, we at least have something to compare them with here, so let's take a look. Guardian has stepped it up a notch as they take the crown, but both Paladins and Warriors are very close, with DKs not too far behind either.
All percentiles Mythic data by Warcraft Logs.
Healers are very stable, as the Mythic rankings look identical to the Heroic ones from a few weeks ago, with Druids and Monks dominating.

All percentiles Mythic data by Warcraft Logs.
Frost DKs are back at No.2 on Heroic, as Demonology rules over all and Destruction remains in the middle of the pack. Havoc is rising this week and has positioned it self at No.4, knocking Shadow down one, as Balance hops 1 up into 6th. Subtletly has a big drop this week, as it moves all the way down to 14th from its previous top 10 spot.

All percentiles Heroic data by Warcraft Logs.
As always, if you want even more info on a spec, you can check out our class guides here, for a DPS tier list you can go here, or for even more data, head on over to Warcraft Logs. You can also check out our Sepulcher raid guides.

Blizzard has changed the eye color of Dark Ranger Captain Delaryn Summermoon in Patch 9.2.5. Delaryn was raised by Sylvanas during the Battle for Darkshore. In this post, we speculate about the eye change in more detail.
Delaryn Summermoon was the captain of the Darnassian City Guard and a commander of the night elven forces who fought during the War of Thorns. She was raised into undeath as a dark ranger of the Forsaken during the Battle for Darkshore. She along with other undead night elves sought Calia Menethil to help them.
      Source: Wowpedia
Delaryn's eyes currently have a red/blueish Death Knight glow on live servers and they gave her proper red eyes in Patch 9.2.5. The customization option exists in the game files for a while now and isn't exactly new. Below you can see her updated eyes in mode detail. Thanks to simaia and MrGM for spotting the change.
Placeholder for tweet 1528735870441771011 What could the new eye color mean? For one, we have rumors circulating about a potential Dragonflight pre-order Allied Race. We also know that something's brewing in Lordaeron with updates to Brill and Calia Menethil. Do you think Calia might end up leading the fallen Night Elves that have been raised by Sylvanas (dark rangers) or could this be a Hunter customization option like the Night Warrior? Let us know down in the comments!
Keep in mind that nothing has been confirmed by Blizzard yet and we'll need to wait until the update goes live.

Grimrail Depot will be added to the Mythic+ pool of dungeons in Shadowlands Season 4. Here's a sample +10 run of the Warlords of Draenor dungeon from the Patch 9.2.5 PTR.
The sample run includes testing of the new Season 4 Affix called Shrouded. Thanks to MrGM for the video.
Blizzard added a new accessibility option for players that hides moving environment pieces in Maw of Souls and Grimrail Depot. You can buy the elixir from an NPC at the beginning of both dungeons.

Heartbond Lupine received a new flying animation in Patch 9.2.5. In this post, we compare the old and new animations in more detail.
Heartbond Lupine is a mount added in Patch 9.2 that comes from Protoform Synthesis. Its current flying animation makes it look as if the mount was swimming in the air.

In Patch 9.2.5 the flying run animation has been updated as you can see below. The mount no longer swims but walks in the air.

Which animation do you prefer? Let us know in the comments!
