wow Method Claim the World 2nd Jailer Kill, With a Bug

We have a new No.2 in the race! After The entirety of Shadowlands was dominated by Limit (now Liquid) and Echo, we have a new guild with the silver medal, except it's the same name as the old Ny'alotha one! However, there was a bit of a catch on the kill, through no fault of Method's.

If you're wondering what the "I don't know how I feel about that" comment was at the end, well, it seems there was a pretty big bug that facilitated the kill. It first happened on a previous 0.4% wipe, as the Jailer just was not healing up properly. Normally he heals up to 28%, and with the use of Mortal Strike that goes down to 19%, as we saw in the Echo kill. As you can see above and below, he only healed to 11%, meaning only 1 tick of his heal cast for Method. They immediately reported it and talked to Blizzard, who told them to keep pulling. The issue continued and 40 minutes after that the kill arrived. This seems to be a bug since Blizzard didn't say it was intended, but what is certain is that Method would have gotten the kill anyway even without it, as phase 4 is generally a little easier than 3 (and they have been in the lead since yesterday), so this doesn't really take anything away from their achievement. The players themselves aren't too happy with the kill either, as they absolutely could have taken it down without the bug/nerf (maybe even on that same pull), and after they put in that much effort it is quite disappointing that Blizzard didn't fix the bug in time and allowed this to happen.

Method completely reformed back before Shadowlands with only guild master Sco and a few others staying onboard, but they have managed to steadily climb back up with an almost entirely new roster, taking 7th in Castle Nathria and 5th in the Sanctum, and now 2nd! The former No.2, Liquid skipped around 2 raid days getting back home from their venue, but they did however have a chance to take back 2nd yesterday evening, but didn't manage to get back to their best from before they went home. We now also have a race for 3rd, as Skyline, Liquid, SK Pieces are all within 10% of each other, as Skyline have now also seen phase 4!

Don’t make any drama about the method thing it’s giga not important. They were the farthest guild in the phase anyway I believe, should leave it like that for quick kill though amen.

Yeah he's not, but I think it's safe to say he's a prominent figure in the WoW community. For a lot of people, his opinion carries weight and it's nice to see him use that role to support his fellow gamers and give them the credit they deserve.
