Warcraft Arclight Rumble Minimum Specs, Possible 2022 Release, and No PC Port

We have two unofficial statements and some minimum specs to check out for the Warcraft mobile game, as Towelliee might have some inside info on the matter. Let's start with the official information, as the minimum specs for the game are iOS (6S and up) and Android (S7 and up), as noted in the reveal.

Towelliee talked about the release window for the game during his reveal stream, as there's nothing specific yet, but it is expected in 2022. With the Diablo: Immortal change and recent PC addition, the "is it coming to PC" question is a big one. But it seems Arclight Rumble is not getting the Immortal treatment, as Towelliee talked with Blizzard, and got some information about the mobile focus of the game and seemingly no plans for PC (clipped by Wowhead) :

They mention S7 but I guarantee that game will melt my S7.

Not sure why they're ignoring a PC port, guess their market research indicated most Blizzard consumers won't touch this and they're going for new fans only.

They made Immortal for PC, so why not this? HS is also on PC, although in this case it was the other way around. Perhaps they thought controls were only good for mobile?

I don't understand any reason other than market research leaning them to think PC players wouldn't check it out. It can't be the UI issues. If my beloved Bloons TD 6 can deliver well on PC UI & mobile UI, this thing can as well.

Don't think it matters all that much. Their reasoning for releasing Immortal on PC is so players don't have to use emulators. Same rules will most likely apply to this. If not on release then perhaps later down the line.

Blizzard games like World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, and Overwatch 2 might soon make a comeback in China, thanks to Blizzard reportedly teaming up again with NetEase.

After 14 years of partnership, Blizzard and NetEase hit a rough patch in 2022, leading to failed negotiations. Consequently, when the licensing agreement concluded on January 23, 2023, Blizzard's game services were suspended across mainland China.
