We have a new cutscene in patch 9.2.5, as Calia gets her time in the spotlight. Spoilers ahead.

The cutscene comes at the end of the Eyes of the Wolf quest, which has us spying on waht the Forsaken are up to.

Well, now they're truly forsaken. Forsaken by Arthas, forsaken by Sylvanas, and now forsaken by blizzard because this is probably the last time we'll ever see anything involving the forsaken as anything more than foot soldiers.

Initially, they and Sylvanas were all about getting their vengeance on Arthas. After that, they sort of lost their purpose. Doesn't help how Sylvanas' story was handled either. Of course, they can't be wiped out. Limitations of MMO, since they are a playable race they still need some justification for existing, because there are people playing them.

Bleagh.    I really, really hate the angle they're going for here.     Why do some of the forsaken think she can "help" them?    Does her being a Light-made undead make her special in some way?     All we get is vague handwavy stuff about how she has to do...something...unspecified and probably in the future, and that for some REALLY unspecified reason the forsaken are ok with her (despite her not only being Arthas's sister, but having strong ties to the alliance and Jaina/Anduin in particular.

Did we not watch the same video? Because she specifically voices her concern that the Forsaken won't accept her BECAUSE of her brother being Arthas. Then Voss tells her that undeath is essentially a level playing field, that the Forsaken become your family.

Some, if not all, of the Forsaken are looking for a purpose, either now that Sylvanas doesn't lead them and her efforts to enslave valkyries to maintain and grow their population failed, or some since Arthas was slain, especially now that the one ultimately responsible for the Lich King (Zovaal) is gone as well.

Intelligent races crave some kind of social order, and with it a general sense of purpose. Their reasons for vengeance as a race have either been sated or removed, and they cannot reproduce through natural means, so now what? Live out their remaining days as their numbers dwindle, until death or decay kills the last of them? Existential crisis is a good plot device for where they are at right now.

Yes, I said aside from that (VERY Valid) concern, she also has strong ties with the highest alliance leadership.    I'm asking what makes her so special, and why the forsaken are just willing to handwave the reasons that yes, she listed part of.     Even if "whatever, we're all forsaken now" why does she seem almost inevitably destined to become their leader out of nowhere?      Voss would make more sense, hell that guy who's been selling cockroach pets in undercity for decades would make more sense.     "Hi I'm Arthas's sister but I'm good, and I was just turned into an undead by the Light instead of that awful plague experience you guys went through, but don't worry I'm still able to empathize with you enough to lead you to...something.    Probably.    So please just accept me as your Queen now so we can go bake brownies and assist the living."

I agree that Calia isnt the cream of the crop character, but somehow a way out of the dilemma of the Forsaken. They will just rot away literally, the supply of undead has ended. Which only leads to Calia and her special form of "undead".

There is still an innumerable mass of the scourge out there. Let Calia somehow do the light/undead transformation thing on them to create a new generation of "Forsaken". Yes, sounds cringe but I dont know how to solve this problem otherwise.

If you change your Loot Specialization, Zereth Mortis World and Daily Quests can offer different weapons as rewards.
The game will offer you different rewards from World and Daily Quests on live servers when you switch your Loot Specialization. Here is a short video demonstration video:

You can utilize Loot Specialization switching to collect transmogs or weapons for your off-spec.

Note that this only works in Zereth Mortis and it takes approximately 10 seconds for the rewards to change.

Update: it seems there's only half a mystery here, as I actually just didn't spot the Path of Frost icon, which led to the death. Apologies there. GY port is still a bug though!
It seems someone's been pouring concrete around Stormwind's oceans, as JuliusLeNightmare faced off against some water and lost, only to be teleported to a very far away graveyard.
Now while the teleport to the Tirisfal graveyard and the weird invasion of the zone near Stormwind is a well-known phenomenon/spatial anomaly, the transformation of the water into concrete is slightly weirder! Forsaken conspiracy/concrete pouring or weird bug? You decide!

We've seen many WoW-related Minecraft builds over the years, and this is one of the better ones, as it takes the Alliance capital and transforms it extremely well. After 200 hours of work, @Yunatahel finally finished up and shared the project with the world, so let's take a look!
Warning: potentially loud twitter video sound.
Even the official WoW twitter account commented!

You can also check out a different take on Stormwind (and Orgrimmar) here, and a recent Silvermoon rebuild here.

After today's reveal of the Priest Dragonflight talent tree, Blizzard went into a little more detail for one particular Shadow talent, as it was a little unclear what it did. Here's the basic tooltip we got today, which will be updated.

"Idol of Y'Shaarj: Shadowfiend causes you to gain a benefit based on your target's current emotional state."
      Idol of Y'Shsarj (Source)
Idol of Y’Shaarj will receive a new tooltip as we get closer to Dragonflight. In the meantime though, here’s a breakdown of what it currently does:
      If your target is…
      Above 80% health? → Pride
You and your Shadowfiend deal increased damage while Shadowfiend is active. Enraged? → Anger
Purges the enraged effect and increases your Haste while Shadowfiend is active. Stunned? → Despair
You generate Insanity while Shadowfiend is active. Feared? → Fear
You and your Shadowfiend deal increased damage and do not break fear effects while Shadowfiend is active. No conditions met? → Violence
Duration of Shadowfiend is increased. The priority order is:
      Anger/Despair/Fear → Pride → Violence
As with everything in the talent tree, these effects are subject to change. I hope this clears up some confusion. We’ll continue monitoring the community’s feedback and we look forward to sharing more Dragonflight details in the future!
