Diablo Immortal PC Open Beta is now available and Blizzard has posted a list of known issues for the most recent build currently available for playtesting.

As the team has previously mentioned, Diablo Immortal is launching for PC in Open Beta. During the PC Open Beta period, we will continue to collect player feedback, make changes, and fine-tune this version of Immortal until we feel it delivers a finalized experience for all courageous adventurers. Below we have listed several known issues with the current PC Open Beta version of Immortal. We will continue to add any new issues that arise to this list.

As patches and hotfixes are applied to the PC Open Beta version of Diablo Immortal, we will update this list with the corresponding changes. Hotfixes are typically applied in a higher frequency, addressing smaller, related issues. They don’t require a large download to be applied to the game. Patches are larger client-side updates that require a download for players to obtain. New patches will require players to update before they can continue playing.

I did the Shadows Recruit Challenge and when I tried to join the Shadow's after getting my Seal I simply got a prompt to my clans page to donate them there when I hit the "Become a Shadow" Button and now this guy don't finishes my quest nor I can re-enter the shadow's lottery gamble...
What is that for gamebreaking stuff

We all know the biggest known issue is that they actually released this trash.

I've played for a few hours and the worst part is the people justifying payment and then saying stuff like "but its free, you can all get it for free if you wanted" while in reality its impossible to acquire such character power unless you play 24/7.            Then there's the encroaching censorship, chat was fun the first day but now they are sending reports and mutes all over the place for discussing anything remotely negative, whether it is about the state of the game or unrelated topics.                          They also didn't realize EU has a different culture than US, banter is way more common and there is no "cancelling" or "unacceptable words". Splitting the EU into east/west and applying fitting policies would be way better than eastern european people getting banned and muted 24/7. Being called a *filtered* is only the bottom of the mildest things you encounter here, I have no idea why western companies boast with "inclusivity" and "progressive" cultural acceptance when in reality they are censoring these people.

This out of season April fools joke is quite playable, I gave it a try. Still a mobile grindfest I see no point in playing. And from what I've heard, p2w and battle pass systems are all in place :D

I played it for first few hours, initially it gives quite a lot of loot and gold to ease people into spending later. Then there are those small bundles that are also meant to get people used to spending. Two versions of season pass, what's funny is the bonus stash it gives will apparently disappear after season is over, so players have to buy another one. I guess a lot of those who bought it might be unaware of it, so expect even more people pissed at the game. I wonder though what happens with items stored in there when it expires?

Either blocked or mailed like in D3 Seasons just so you'd buy the pass again, probably.

The sad thing about Immortal is that quite some time was spent to develop it, it looks like a third-party dev was involved though. Hell, if they would just release an expansion for D3 I'd buy it, why not. Last time I checked D4 was not even on a horizon. I understand that releasing Immortal will be like 100x times the profit of a D3 exp though.

I went from mistrust and misunderstanding of the announcement to hopes that Immortal would be playable on PC and I'll have something fresh but familiar to play while I'm displaced (i'm Ukrainian and it's rough here). I very rarely play on mobile and my laptop cannot handle Immortal. Guess I'm back to Grim Dawn again, it always brings back Titan Quest memories.

Netease was involved until some point at least, although their work has finished a long time ago. Looks like much was up to Blizzard and they couldn't even deliver a good PC port. Controls and menus are very clunky, sometimes move or attack are not registering properly. Sure, it's "beta", but they were developing this for a few years and they could have done so much better than this. Perhaps they had to rework whole monetization at some point, which might have been one of main reasons for this delay, yet it still came out with some of the worst business practices. Their model makes Lost Ark look like charity in comparison. 😆

Given my proximity to Ukraine, I'm well aware about current situation. It even affected this game, due to war Blizzard didn't open any Russian servers, so they flooded all of EU instead. I've seen plenty of trolls spamming insults and some things about war in general chat. Fortunately, they were just a small minority.

It really should considering it's made by the same people and is using the same engine etc. It is pretty much just a spiritual successor to Titan Quest ^^

Posts like this ruin the game for everyone. Not constructive at all, just toxic.

Its a great, enjoyable game. Unless you read the shitposttrolls work.

Are you paid by Activision/Blizzard, 13 years old, or completely blind?

Some of the game parts are OK. MTXs have been integrated even more into this game than the RMAH was into D3 at the time, and that nearly killed the franchise. It's a good thing Immortal isn't a "main" entry, but if D4 releases with anything like this for MTX systems, it will be the end of the franchise, much like EA managed to kill off C&C, SimCity, etc.

Datamining shows you would need LITERAL decades of playing without spending money to get to endgame gear.
Empowering a Rift to get a *chance* at legendary gems costs real money. Every rift, again. Running rifts without spending real money is near-useless and is entirely useless in many cases as many drops simply CANNOT happen. Running rifts spending "only a little" money will still cost you $30/hour. Efficiently running rifts with max crests is over $300/hour. Sure, you don't *need* to. But it does mean the multiplayer/leaderboard aspect of the game is utterly and completely P2W. I'm not saying spending hours grinding is more or less worth it than spending hundreds of dollars - I prefer leaderboards be more determined by skill - but it really is a case of a game where one can quite simply spend money to reach the #1 spot.

Not to mention how dangerous a game like this is to the rest of blizzards IPs. What do you think is gonna happen if this game ends up being somewhat popular? If this game ends up making a lot of money? All of a sudden they will start moving their focus from making "regular" games and slowly move more and more towards just making MTX mobile games.

I've seen a couple of Bellular videos on Immortal MTX practices, and the worst thing for me is all the psychological manipulations embedded into the game. It is designed to guide your every step. I mean, it's a mobile game, you enjoy it or not, it must be for you to deice whether you want to spend cash on cosmetics or something like a battle pass. But building habits and then dropping roadblocks on progression to get you to spend more - that should be illegal.

Diablo Community Lead PezRadar clarified that the next Diablo Immortal update will be announced in the coming weeks. The patch will focus on the new Battle Pass season and free game content.

Where are patches or updates to the game?
      A good question ?
We will have our first update here in the next few weeks as we get to the tail end of the current Battle Pass. We will detail out some of our content cadence in the post. Expectations for the next update will focus in on the BP as well as some features, fixes and etc.
As we've noted in the past, bigger gameplay content features will be free for users so expect more to the story and so forth in the future for everyone to experience.

We have two big pieces of news for DI, as Blizzard have released a post-launch infographic featuring the number of downloads (over 10 million), as well as other intresting game stats. In addition to that we also found out the game's launch in the Asia Pacific region has been delayed to July 7th (from the most recent June 22nd launch), and that players in the region will be receiving some goodies due to the delay.

The Chinese release of the game, however, seems to have been delayed "indefinitely", possibly due to some strange circumstances, including the official game's Weibo account being banned over a controversial post. You can read more on the matter over in the Financial Times article.

      DI Launch (Source)
We are delaying the launch of Diablo Immortal in the regions of Asia Pacific to July 7 PDT. Having a staggered launch for our debut mobile-first game gave us an opportunity to learn and optimize between each phase. We believe that our players will benefit from optimization that would make the download and playing experience much smoother.
Among the features we are working on are:
Initial build package optimization: Reshuffling the assets downloading sequence so relevant UI would populate properly to improve user experience in-game.   Android device performance optimization: The install base of mobile devices in Asia Pacific regions is very diverse. Using learnings from the first phase of our launch, we are performing additional compatibility tests to optimize the launch experience.   PC experience improvements: Including fixes to potion and skills lockout issues, Auto-Navigation, Demon Hunter primary attack, Xbox controller input delay, and more.   Performance and network optimization: Improvements to deferred multi-lighting particle tech, bug fixes, and more.  We appreciate your patience, and we will be providing each player in impacted regions with a package consisting of one piece of Legendary Gear, 100 Scrap Materials, and 10 Enchanted Dust. To claim these items, visit your in-game inbox after you have created your character and begun your journey into Sanctuary on July 7 PDT.

Blizzard applied a hotfix that addresses volume of spawns in specific areas in Mount Zavain and Library of Zoltun Kulle. We also have bad news for Samsung Galaxy A13 owners. The devices will not be supported with Diablo Immortal due to a 32-bit limitation on their Android operating software.

      Hello -
We will compile hotfix updates in this thread and continuously update this thread when we have notable hotfixes to the game. Hotfixes do not require a new patch to be downloaded from each respective App Store or Battle.net and are done behind the scenes to address any issues.

      June 16 2022 Update
A hotfix was applied yesterday that addresses volume of spawns in specific areas in Mount Zavain and Library of Zoltun Kulle.
Samsung Galaxy A13 and A13 5G devices will unfortunately not be supported with Diablo Immortal due to a 32-bit limitation on their Android operating software.
      June 10 2022 Update
We have applied a fix toward some additional devices that were affected with game startup issues. This is due to chipset + Android 12 compatibility issues that the team discovered once the prior Exynos chipset fixes went out.
      Devices in this fix include
      Samsung Galaxy A51
      Samsung M21 (SM-F415F)
      Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite
      Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite
      Samsung M21 2021 Edition
      Samsung Galaxy M31
      Samsung Galaxy M31s
      Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite
      June 7 2022 Update
We have applied a fix toward Exynos Chipset devices that were unable to play Diablo Immortal. You may find these updates on the Google Play and ONE Stores.

      June 6 2022 Update
We will be applying a hotfix around 12am Pacific Daylight Time on June 7 that will address an issue users are experiencing when moving from Adventurer to Dark Clan.
The first cycle on the server will now require 5 Akeba’s Signets. Future cycles after that will require 30 Akeba’s Signets. This will address the issue that players were experiencing when using these to form a Dark Clan and not meeting the requirements.
There is another issue that we will tackle in a future patch that requires players to be level 43 or higher in the clan for this conversion to occur. In the meantime, once a clan has 5 or 30 signets, they’ll need to kick everybody lower than level 43 in order to convert to a dark clan. We apologize for this extra step, but we hope the hotfix can help alleviate some of the initial confusion players are experiencing at this time.
