Will Dragonflight Release in November 2022?

Recommended Posts

Scaleface, a reputable leaker from MMO-Champion who accurately (but vaguely) predicted Legion back in 2015, also leaked Dragonflight and Warcraft Rumble ahead of their official reveals. If his Dragonflight leak proves to be 100% true, Dragonflight could release in November 2022.

Looking back at Scaleface's Dragonflight leak from 2 months ago, the person got everything right and the leak was backed up with enough evidence in the form of images and other files.

The leak mentions Dragonflight releasing in November 2022 and Wrath Classic in September 2022.

Back in April, the Red Shirt Guy thought Scaleface might have messed up the release date, but the Dragonflight pre-orders revealed the expansion is, in fact, releasing this year on or before December 31.

His most recent reply on MMO-C suggests "release dates haven't been touched since April 2022 when the game was announced" and Dragonflight is reportedly "releasing in November (2nd week and last week for now) and WotLK in September".

"Well, the dates can be changed at any time (at least for 31 of Dec ;p), but in this case they have not been touched since April - and the DF is still in November (2nd week and last week for now) and wotlk for Sept."

Do you think Dragonflight will release in November this year? Let us know in the comments!

Just my opinion but the guy on the inside that has been trusted with this info and decided to break that trust and release all this stuff is an actual loser.

those leaks looks intentional, why would they do this? to check reactions for marketing people do some stuff to come up with excuses or whatever to make it better looking

if they brave enough to release it early and its good im fine with it,but better wait longer for more good stuff

Why? They've almost perfected the cycle. Launch with bugs and imbalance and w.e they think is best, make the game actually good by the .2/.3 patch.

It all just depends. Apparently this expansion is way far along according to Ion when he did an interview with Taliesin and Evittel. But considering we only have seen the bare bones I'm not wholly convinced it will come rocking and rolling like the dev team thinks it will.

OK if you dont realize that the inside source is doing so only with approval from Blizzard then you arent using your brain. No one is going to risk their job just to leak something. This is just added publicity for Blizzard and they know exactly what they are doing. You give bits and pieces of info to someone who has a huge following..what happens.. instantly, people are talking about the information, having debates both good and bad. There is no such thing as bad publicity, or so they say.

Far along is a nothing statement. It sounds good because implies they've done a lot, but with nothing to compare it to, it's hard to say whether it actually means anything.

If I say I have 5000 things done in the last year, that sounds great, but if I then say I it's out of 500,000, it's not that great.

Well yea. Hence why I said we have seen only the bare bones of the expansion and nothing more. If the expansion is truly as far along as they have stated we would have seen more. But at the end of the day we will be the judge of that once alpha releases and when players start to test these new features.

You miss the point. Them saying it's far along means nothing. It's not a quantifiable statement so we don't know how much is actually ready for alpha/beta/w.e

You do know what an alpha build means do you?
An alpha build is a prototype of a sort its a working build but far from the complete build thats the beta at least in theory a beta build should have all feature so they can be tested if they work

so the alpha is basically meaningless for your statement because the alpha build will not give us a complete picture of the working systems

btw. its not very likely that we will play the alpha at least not as an public test at best some streamers get to play it
massive public test thats the beta for too

I didn't miss the point at all. I'm agreeing with you, but like I said we don't know what they have been working on due to limited amount of information we have.

As I said before, if they said that this expansion is far along as they want us to believe we will see that in the coming months once more and more concrete evidences comes out to support that statement that Ion made. Until then, I'm very skeptical like the rest.

Yes I am fully aware of what an alpha build is. But if they are planning on releasing this expansion by the end of this year, I wouldn't put it past Blizzard releasing most of the core features on Alpha for testing anyways. And then releasing the smaller content in later stages of the testing phase before initial release.

Blizzard have detailed an upcoming nerf coming "soon" (presumably today) to the pendultimate boss of Amirdrassil Mythic. Players will now be getting 2 extra feathers so more can dragonride and grab the orbs, and especially to do more damage to the roots.
      Tindral (Source)
With a hotfix that we’ll apply to the game soon:
Tindral Sageswift Fallen Feathers now spawn 6 feathers (was 4) on Mythic Difficulty. And as always, this change will be listed later in our Hotfixes Update.

A big week 3 in the dungeons, as we'd usually see things stabilizing by now, but the constant  class tuning is not letting things calm down. After last week's smaller tuning pass we had a big one hit this week, so things won't be staying as they are for long!
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
Augmentation keeps showcasing why its raid logs are very very wrong, as the completion-based charts sees them just not budging from the top! Fire moves up in the world as both it and Havoc move past Outlaw and form the top 3, as Demonology stands firm behind the Rogue. Assassination apparently isn't happy with just dominating raids, so it's gaining ground here as well, moving 2 spots up into 7th, same as  Beast Mastery in 8th. However, both specs got hit by the nerf bat this week so we'll see where they end up next time. Arcane and Enhancement close out the top 10, with the Mage dropping down and the Shaman moving up.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
The top 4 remains identical in the generalist bracket, as we see Demonology breaking up the monotony and pushing into a Mage sandwich in 5th. BM is up for now here as well, as Fury still does much better and closes out the top 10. The bottom 3 are similar to the above chart, with the rest of the Warlocks down in the dumps, but with Marksmanship joining them instead of Devastation.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Havoc reigns supreme in the actual DPS charts, quite a bit ahead of Demonology in second, which is basically tied with Beast Mastery in third! However, let's not forget the raw DPS numbers are not tracking Augmentation properly so let's imagine it up here somewhere as well, instead of down in the bottom 3. The two Rogues both remains stable in 4th and 5th as Arcane drops off a big 4 spots, leaving Enhancement in its 6 spot. Retribution and Survival also used this opportunity and moved up in the world, with the Paladin gaining a solid 3 spots and the Hunter a giant 8 in 8th! Fire is also on the rise with a 4-spot bump, just ahead of its fallen Mage brother.

Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs and u.gg. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides, as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

Today, we're looking at a video covering some scrapped Warlords of Draenor content.
The video was created by Dovah the Explorer who shows off unused and untextured maps. Zones that were never finished or used for anything in the Warlords of Draenor expansion (with the exception of a few game objects / assets).
We get to see unfinished zones like Karabor Interior.

There's also an orcish city named Grommar that never went live.

We also see a bunch of prototype garrisons for each zone that never went live, even a Tier 4 one with a cathedral.

You can watch Dovah's video with more scrapped content below.
