An Easy Way for New Players to Unlock Chromie Time

Recommended Posts

J9QyM6W.jpeg

New players in World of Warcraft do not have access to Chromie Time and must play through Battle for Azeroth before heading to Shadowlands. However, there's currently a workaround to circumvent that.

Apparently, when the new player creates a Class Trial, it unlocks Chromie Time for all characters. At this time, we are not sure if this behavior is intended or a bug.

Chromie Time lets you pick the starting zone and the expansion for leveling in the 10-50 range. The feature is not available for completely new accounts who must first go to Exile's Reach and then play through Battle for Azeroth before going to the Shadowlands.

It's so bizarre to force the BfA narrative for a new player. I guess their idea is that it's more "recent," but it hardly puts the player into any scenarios that thrum that old Warcraft universe feel in Eastern Kingdoms or later: Kalimdor. I understand having new players play through Cataclysm would also be confusing, but at least you get a feel for human and dwarf architecture, orc and tauren camps, the remnants of the scourge, cool nature zones like Ashenvale, Feralas, Stranglethorn, Un'goro, etc. Just a lot more option for scenery and history.

I think it is more likely their way to make the older content disappear, if everyone does a newer expansion content, which is quite abit more better than Cata content (ie. Stomwind, Ironforge etc.) It would take away any need to update them to the current standards, they could just remove them do whatever they want, all races have a new starting zone and then its straight to BfA, which is better than Shadowlands by far, so why would they upgrade Durotar or any other old zones or its content, when they can just make it disappear into the netherworld.

I mean, only the long-term players will remember Durotar and similar zones, the Devs could in theory change it so the Catacylsm with Deathwing destroyed the lands of Azeroth, only a few areas were saved by the Dragonflights and that can turn into the next expansion and results in ALL the older zones from pre-Burning Crusades being destroyed since well, its old content and they can't be asked to upgrade it to the current system......but its just a theory.

Yes but I couldn't for the life of me figure out why Class trial didn't work for me. I just couldn't play with the class trial character.

did you get it to work?

If you plan on buying the physical War Within Collector's Edition and live in Europe, you're going to have a bad time!
Blizzard has ceased distributing WoW Collector's Editions through retailers with the release of Dragonflight, making the Blizzard Store the only place to buy them. However, the shipping costs could be a dealbreaker for many collectors eager to acquire the latest edition for the upcoming expansion.
Reddit user katamai from Serbia posted a screenshot of their order, revealing that the shipping fees exceed the cost of the box itself—280 Euros for shipping compared to 200 Euros for the box, totaling 480 Euros.

Additionally, Emi, a follower on our Facebook page, reported a shipping cost of 99 Euros to Romania, nearly ten times what it costs to ship to the UK.

A practical workaround might be to order the Collector's Edition to a UK address and then use a shipping service to forward it to your address in Europe, potentially saving a considerable amount of money.
How much does it cost to ship the box to your country?

We've already talked about and taken a first look at the Delve-specific mount coming in the War Within, but now it's time to check out all of its customization options!
LeystTV has delved into the mount and shown off all the options, from the different colors to nose, wing, thruster, and top customizations, with glider, blimp, helicopter looks and more! There's even different versions of Horde and Alliance decals to choose from!

And these may not even be all the options present at launch, not to mention new ones Blizzard might add with later patches, making this one of the cooler mounts in the game.
