Mistweaver - is a 2Her good enough?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys. I've been playing Mistweaver for a while and right now I'm curious about how 2H weapons compare to 1H/OH.

I'm currently using the flex version of Gaze of Arrogance, and in my bank I have the flex version of Juggernaut's Power Core. I've been going for the sword from Nazgrim for quite a while now to no avail, and I've spent a lot of reroll tokens on it unfortunately. My weekly rerolls tend to go between flex Nazgrim, LFR Nazgrim, and Ordos.

Sadly my gear is quite lacking right now and I feel like I'm accomplishing nothing with the rerolls on Nazgrim. Is there really a big difference between Gaze of Arrogance and 1H/OH?

Here's my armory:

2H gives more dps for fistweaving but this is not a gmae changer.

1H and OH can give you more stats with the extra offhand enchant.

Go for the weapon combo that gives you the biggest useful stat increase.

Most of the time the spell power increase and reforging gives the higher ilvl items more value but only if the stats are valuable.

Itemization wise, Nazgrim sword and IJ off hand is best, but as brewmonksta said, go for what gives you the biggest itemlevel increase that has useful stats.  The gaze of arrogance is prefrectly acceptable.
