Dragonflight Enemy HP Increase Coming With Next Build

Recommended Posts

Blizzard have announced that they will be buffing mob HP with the upcoming Beta build and explained the intended average combat duration.

Blizzard LogoHP Increase (Source)

When we next restart the Dragonflight Beta realms, we will increase enemy health to bring combat times closer to our intended targets.

Our expectation is that the average player going through a questing experience with one of the standard template characters will be engaged with a single enemy for one or two durations of their typical damage rotation. There are many players out there and they all have varying skill levels, and we expect that different players will have different experiences with these changes.

Please let us know your thoughts about this here, in this thread.

Thank you!

I hope they plan to increase the damage they take or something, cause from what i have seen, things take longer to kill at higher level and most of the time, the reward never matches the time and effort needed.

Good change mobs are really undertuned atm.

True, but i don't like how a mob at level 10 and very quick to kill, while, an mob at level 45, takes FAR longer to kill, i think it should be the same pace, throughout the game, so the mobs don't suddenly go from easy and fast to kill, to slow and tedious.

You mean lvl10 where you don't have 70+% of your kit?
It's not 'slow and tedious' it's how they are supposed to be, take a wild guess why.

No1 talks about low level here, the base post isabout beta 60+ and I was talking about that too. But to reflect on your "problem", low level mobs dont really do anything auto attacks, becuase you dont have pretty much any of your toolkit, mobs that pretty much just  auto attack lasting longer would be a really tedious thing (aka classic wow auto attack simultor bs).

Ohhhhhhh, normally in mmos, when they say HP levels of enemies, it tends to mean ALL of them, even if they don't clearly say it.

Normally when they post on a beta forum it's only about the actual beta tested stuff, unless they clearly say it's not.

This week's Dragonflight Beta update reveals more information about the new Dragonflight Season 1 affix - Thundering!
The new affix will be active in all +10 runs and above. It is themed after Raszageth, the final boss found within the Vaults of the Incarnates raid. It is very similar to Quaking.
Thundering - While in combat, players are periodically caught in Raszageth's unending storm. As the storm passes, players discharge excess energy that can damage and stun allies.

Mythic +0 dungeons and Raid Finder bosses no longer drop Rare Quality gear on the Beta. The seemingly visual change has been reverted to Epic Quality.
In the previous build ,we reported about Mythic +0 dungeons and select Raid Finder bosses in the Vaults raid dropping Rare Quality gear.

However, Blizzard has reverted the loot quality to its previous state and Mythic +0 dungeons as well as bosses on Raid Finder difficulty again drop Epic Quality gear.

Tier sets and set bonuses are now available for testing on the Dragonflight Beta. You can purchase them from a vendor on the Valdrakken max level realm.
Talk to Setzertauren in Orgrimmar and Stormwind to get started!

Please note Tier Sets are only available for testing on Valdrakken. Koranos and Tyrhold do not have them. Happy testing!
