There has not been a lot going on in the past week in World of Warcraft, so the highlight of the week is probably the latest update to the Warlords of Draenor patch notes. Also, a lot of websites have published their GamesCom interviews with Tom Chilton, Game Director for World of Warcraft, so we take a look at the most interesting answers he gave. Finally, new sets of connected US realms are going to be created, so we felt that it would be a good occasion to simply list all of the currently connected realms in both Europe and North America.

Warlords of Draenor Beta Patch Notes: August 19

You will find the updated Patch Notes here. All of the changes are class balance changes. Most of them are very minor, but there is an interesting one. The DPS rotation of Windwalker Monks has been made slower to avoid GCD-capping issues.

Warlords of Draenor Interviews with Tom Chilton

All of the extracts below are summaries, done by MMO-Champion, of answers given by Tom Chilton during the various interviews that he gave at GamesCom.
  • Raids
    • In theory, Warlords could only have two raid tiers and then a new expansion. It depends on how quickly the next expansion is ready. (buffed.de)
    • Raids will open roughly two and a half weeks after the expansion releases. This will give players time to level and enjoy some dungeons and other content before they move on to raiding. (vanion.eu)
    • Normal and Heroic will open first, with Mythic and LFR starting to open the following week. (vanion.eu)
    • Blackrock Foundry will open some number of weeks later. (vanion.eu)
    • Grommash is really the final boss! When players get to the Grommash fight, they will see that it is a completely different fight from the Garrosh fight in Siege of Orgrimmar. (vanion.eu)
    • Tanaan Jungle will be in a content patch. It contains the Grommash Hellscream raid, as well as some outdoor world content. (mamytwink.com)
  • Classes
    • The number of abilities classes have has gotten out of control, as most classes had enough abilities at WoW's launch, but more and more have been added since then. We finally reached the point where pruning had to be done. (GAME)
    • The design of the Arms Warrior lost its way over the years, moving away from what Arms felt like when WoW was launched. The changes in Warlords should solve this and bring back the identity of the spec. (GAME)

Patch 7.3 introduced a fixed world boss rotation. Now that all bosses were up at least once, we gathered enough data and compiled a table of upcoming world boss spawns and some of their loot you might be interested in.

Everything you need to know about Legendary items after Antorus opens next week!
Antorus, the Burning Throne raid opens next week and Legendary items can be once again upgraded up to item level 1,000.
The maximum item level of Legendary items in Legion is 1,000. "A Titanic Effort" is a new quest that must be completed in order to receive Awoken Titan Essence and upgrade a single Legendary item. The objective is to collect 50 Wakening Essences.
The reaction's intensity is accelerating by the day. We may win the fight against the Legion only to lose something very dear to us. Is this a portent of some greater upheaval to come? What fate awaits our world, <name>? I will seek answers at my forge, as I have done all my life. Your answers, I suspect, lie elsewhere.
Note that the quest needs to be repeated for each Legendary item upgrade.
      Waking Essences
      Where to get them?
Weekly Order Hall Cache grants 20 Wakening Essences. Emissary bags drop Wakening Essences. It's best not to complete any emissaries on Sunday / Monday in US (Monday / Tuesday in EU) so that you have all three up after next week's maintenance to maximize the gain of Wakening Essences from world quests. Antorus bosses drop Wakening Essences even on LFR difficulty. First Random Heroic Dungeon of the day grants 5 Wakening Essences. Wakening Essences can be obtained from weekly PvP quests (2v2, 3v3, 10v10), but the amount is TBD. Once you loot Cursed Shard, you get 10 Wakening Essences. "The Cursed Shard" can only be completed once. New Legendary Items
Two new Legendary items will be available after Antorus opens.
Insignia of the Grand Army is rewarded from "The Death of a Titan" quest. The objective is to kill Argus the Unmaker on Normal difficulty or higher. Unlike other Legendary items, this one is guaranteed. It empowers Netherlight Crucible traits by 50%.
Light Powers: Infusion of Light, Light's Embrace, Light Speed, Refractive Shell, Secure in the Light, Shocklight. Shadow Powers: Chaotic Darkness, Dark Sorrows , Master of Shadows, Murderous Intent, Shadowbind, Torment the Weak. Aman'Thul's Vision drops from Argus the Unmaker as personal loot. During the latest Q/A, Ion didn't want to reveal more information about the item. What's interesting is that the item ignores the Legion Legendary cap of 2. Maybe we'll see a phase similar to Kael'thas Legendaries, where all players can loot them.
Item Effect Source Aman'Thul's Vision Approximately 1.4 procs per minute Your spells and abilities have a chance to grant you 3,840 Speed, Avoidance, and Leech for 12 sec.

      Aman'Thul's Grandeur
When empowered by the Pantheon, your Intellect is increased by 3,831 for 15 sec.
Drops from Argus the Unmaker. The item is not listed in the standard Legendary loot tables. Insignia of the Grand Army Increase the effects of Light and Shadow powers granted by the Netherlight Crucible by 50%. The Death of a Titan (Quest) - Defeat Argus the Unmaker on Normal difficulty or higher. Crafted Legendary Items
All Legendary items crafted after Antorus opens should have an item level of 1,000 by default.

Everything you need to know about Legendary items in Patch 7.3.2.
In Patch 7.3.2, Legendary items can be upgraded to item level 1,000. Blizzard also added Legendary tokens and a ring that empowers traits from the Netherlight Crucible.
      Upgrading Legendary Items
In Patch 7.3.2 Legendary items can be upgraded to item level 1,000. The Cursed Shard quest is started by looting Cursed Shard. The item has a variety of sources. It can drop in LFR or you can get it by doing the first Random Heroic Dungeon of the day. Once you bring it to Arcanomancer Vridiel in Dalaran, you will get 10 Wakening Essences. Collect 50 Wakening Essences to get Awoken Titan Essence and upgrade a Legendary item to 1,000.
      Sources
The Kirin Tor emissary bag did not reward any essences on PTR, but this can be random and needs further confirmation. Maybe they can only be collected from Argus faction bags. Antorus bosses drop a random amount of essences. Garothi Worldbreaker dropped 4 in LFR.
Source Amount Status Mythic Order Hall Cache (Once a week) 20 Wakening Essences Confirmed Antorus Bosses (Each boss) 4 Wakening Essences (LFR 1st Boss) Confirmed Emissary Bag (Complete 5 World Quests) ? Wakening Essences Amount TBA First Random Heroic Dungeon (Once a day) 5 Wakening Essences Confirmed Weekly PvP Quests (2v2, 3v3, 10v10)
? Wakening Essences Amount TBA Cursed Shard (The Cursed Shard quest / one-time-only) 10 Wakening Essences Confirmed New Legendary Items
Two Legendary item will be added in Patch 7.3.2. The legendary ring will be available to players that defeat Argus the Unmaker on Normal difficulty or higher and the trinket is a drop from Argus the Unmaker. The ring's affix increases the effects of Light and Shadow powers from the Netherlight Crucible by 50%. You can find more information in our Netherlight Crucible guide.
Light Powers: Infusion of Light, Light's Embrace, Light Speed, Refractive Shell, Secure in the Light, Shocklight. Shadow Powers: Chaotic Darkness, Dark Sorrows , Master of Shadows, Murderous Intent, Shadowbind, Torment the Weak. Recently, Blizzard updated one of the Path of the Titans trinkets (Aman'Thul's Vision) to item level 1,000 and now it is a Legendary item that does not count toward the 2 Legendary cap. Path of the Titans trinkets can be upgraded with Pantheon's Blessing up to item level 1,000, so we're not sure yet, if all trinkets will be of Legendary quality after upgrading them to the maximum item level. More information can be found here.
Item Effect Source Aman'Thul's Vision Approximately 1.4 procs per minute Your spells and abilities have a chance to grant you 6,716 Speed, Avoidance, and Leech for 12 sec.

      Aman'Thul's Grandeur
When empowered by the Pantheon, your Intellect is increased by 6,700 for 15 sec.
Legendary Tokens
Patch 7.3.2 adds new Legendary tokens to help keep gameplay on your main rewarding. Legendary tokens will start dropping when you collect ALL Legendary items on your class, in other words, on your main. Collecting ALL Legendary items designated for a single specialization won't suffice. Legendary tokens are BoA, so they can be sent to your alts (even when they are on a different realm). Use them to discover a random Legendary item.
Class Item Effect Death Knight Bone-Wrought Coffer of the Damned Identify Legendary Demon Hunter Demonslayer's Soul-Sealed Satchel Identify Legendary Druid Living Root-Bound Cache Identify Legendary Hunter Deepwood Ranger's Quiver Identify Legendary Mage Spell-Secured Pocket of Infinite Depths Identify Legendary Monk Hand-Carved Jade Puzzlebox Identify Legendary Paladin Light-Bound Reliquary Identify Legendary Priest Coffer of Twin Faiths Identify Legendary Rogue Hollow Skeleton Key Identify Legendary Shaman Giant Elemental's Closed Stone Fist Identify Legendary Warlock Pocket Keystone to Abandoned World Identify Legendary Warrior Stalwart Champion's War Chest Identify Legendary FAQ
You can start collecting Wakening Essences right away when Antorus opens. You don't need to loot Cursed Shard or accept any quests first. All Legendary items that drop after Antorus opens will have item level 1,000. All crafted Legendary items will be of item level 1,000 by default when Antorus opens. Awoken Titan Essence is used to upgrade a single Legendary item to item level 1,000. You need to collect more Wakening Essences in order to upgrade additional Legendary items. Legendary tokens won't drop unless you collect ALL legendary items on your class. Blizzard mentioned in the latest Q/A that the team is closely monitoring the drop rate of Legendary items. Two legendaries are a standard for raiding, so they may increase the drop rate of the first few Legendary items on a character. At the moment, Blizzard has no plans to increase the Legendary item cap to 3. If you have any questions feel free to leave them in the comments.

Redditor Vorsa believes to have found the potential location of N'Zoth's prison in Battle for Azeroth by studying the maps!
It's kind of an open secret that there will be moderate to heavy Old God involvement in the plot of Battle for Azeroth, potentially even later being revealed as the spark for the renewed Alliance/Horde animosity. N'Zoth and the Void Lords were expected to be the next expansion after Legion for quite a while, but with BfA it seems like we're either getting a mixed bag with PvP focus and Old Gods, or, which I think is more likely, BfA will be the bridge expansion between us fighting the Legion and then full on fighting the Void Lords in the next one.
However, redditor Vorsa has delved into some old maps and thinks he found the potential location of N'Zoth's prison/Ny'alotha on the Battle for Azeroth map. It makes perfect sense if we'll be getting to see the old god/his city in BfA, as it's positioned smack down in the middle between Zandalar and Kul Tiras:

So, is Ny'lotha going to be BfA's Argus type final patch? Is it going to bridge over into a full-on Old God/Void Lord expansion or will be dealing with N'Zoth himself directly in BfA? Will the whole Horde/Alliance scuffle turn out to be a complete Old God manipulation?
      What do you guys think?
