Choose Your Allegiance in Dragonflight for the Week - Wrathion or Sabellian?

Recommended Posts

IiJPC7k.jpg

Each week, you can swear allegiance to Sabellian or Wrathion in Dragonflight.

While the Black Dragonflight currently has no leader, players can be loyal to either Sabellian, who has returned from Outland, or Wrathion every week. For the week, you will complete quests that only increase your current standing with one of them.

Blizzard also implemented a new UI that displays more information about your current reputations standing with both.

We lost the greatest Warchief we ever had thanks to Wrathion, siding with Sabellian all the way.

I prefer Sabellian. Considering Wrathion's mishaps and behavior....

I think it's only because we haven't seen Sabellian for years that he might seem like a better choice. Wrathion at least tried to do something good (even if he messed up a lot), while Sabellian remained hidden in Outland while doing nothing. He appears to be very typical leader for black dragons (minus old god corruption), treating us like his lapdogs, while Wrathion respects us and wants some improvement.

The Warchief who wanted to kill you if you weren't an orc?

Didn't Wrathion help Garrosh escape trial?

One is a manchild dragon and the other one came out of nowhere. I'm siding with whoever gives the best rewards.

jk, i'm going with Wrathion because im maining evoker, and by sucession of command he would be the successor of Neltharion after his death.

Having played the opening quests, Sabellion is calmer, more patient, and far more clever.

Also Wrathion has been a whiny little backstabbing whelp making our lives harder since he showed up pretending to help us.     If there's any justice he eventually becomes a raid boss we kill for loot.

Yes, but he also sided with the Alliance during MoP canonically hoping Varian would simply end the Horde so the world would be united under one banner for when the Legion inevitably invaded again, which when it did was also Wrathion's fault for setting up the situation that led to WoD's Gul'dan being brought to Azeroth.

actually seballian is an older son of Deathwing. So by succession he would be the successor.

Blue Dragonflight did demonstrate the process of electing a new Aspect, and they decided in favor of Kalecgos over Malygos' actual son.

But Garrosh went insane on his own, way before Wrathion done anything. He wanted to kill all non-orc life.

Can you eventually reach maximum loyalty rank for both of them, or does pledging for one affect your standing with the other? The article is not very clear on this.

Yes, you can.

You get no negative consequences siding with a different one each week.

Allegiance??? I have saved Azeroth countless times. I've defeat the Lich King. Demons, elementals, titans and other horrendous monsters defeated by my hand. I defeated warriors of the Burning Legion and I healed the bleeding heart of Azeroth and even restored the Afterlife. You dragons should pledge your allegiance to me...

Sabellion had literally no choice.    Going back to Azeroth pre-N'zoth death meant madness and corruption for the rest of his flight.

Also if you really believe Wrathion respects us I have some Florida swampland for sale...

He does, it's even reflected in reputations. Sabellian doesn't really want to change much, black dragons will continue to do their things, not caring about rest of the world, only difference is that they are going to do it without old gold corruption.

Here's a detailed preview of Bel'ameth, the new Night Elf capital coming in Patch 10.2.5.
Obviously, this week's 10.2.5 PTR build only brought the very first unfinished iteration of the Night Elf city, but we can already see some familiar names of NPCs from Teldrassil.
You can watch MrGM's latest video to explore the new city in more detail.

      November 29 (Source)
      Classes
Evoker Augmentation Fixed an issue that made it possible for Sands of Time to fail to extend Ebon Might. Dungeons
The Everbloom Lady Baihu and her Kirin Tor Battle-Mages no longer trigger on-death affix effects in Mythic Keystone difficulty. Items
PvP Class set items that were obtained from the Great Vault or converted at the Revival Catalyst and were previously on the Veteran track should now be using the Champion track. WoW’s 19th Anniversary
Emeriss and Lethon's Aura of Nature debuff now deals significantly less damage.

The top 3 is concluded! Method have now finished Amirdrassil Mythic as well, and in fairly unusual and daring fashion!
After 458 pulls Method brought the dragon down, but not before making an interesting choice to not re-clear the raid after the EU reset, instead opting to extend their previous lockout. This meant they would not be getting gear upgrades from the raid, and only be improving their item levels from other weekly reset sources like the Vault etc. It seems that worked out well for them, as they only spent 4 hours on the boss today after the reset, after a previous 8% best from the week before.

      Here's the full phase 3:

Congratulations to Method for the kill, as the boss is really impressive as we'll see just how many guilds even manage to down it at all before nerfs.

Ensemble: Spring Reveler's Collection is a new Love is in the Air armor set added in Patch 10.2.5.
Blizzard's updating Love is in the Air in Patch 10.2.5. This week's PTR builds adds the Ensemble: Spring Reveler's Collection armor set that keyboardturn has reconstructed and you can see there are three tints of the set. I assume the blue one will be a good fit especially for Frost Mages.
