10 Hilarious Bugs in Dragonflight

Recommended Posts

In the latest video, Rextroy showcases 10 hilarious bugs he discovered in Dragonflight.

Background Information:

There are a lot of bugs in Dragonflight... and these are just a few that I have come across!

Free Elite Gear:

First, we have a bug that granted us free elite gear the moment the season started... I assume the reason for this is that I had a 1.8k rating in the pre-patch. And when the season started, it somehow counted towards the elite transmog... quite a hilarious oversight

Lay on Hands Bug:

Lay on Hands is currently bugged and affected by Dampening twice... If you have 50% dampening, your Lay on Hands (say it heals for 400k) will be nerfed by 50% to 200k... and then 50% again to 100k... Making the 50% dampening count as 75% etc... Quite annoying and definitely impacts the performance of Paladins, especially in 2v2 since dampening stacks faster

Healer Mana Bug:

There is currently a bug with Reserve of Intellect Reserve of Intellect (chest enchant). When your gear scales because you enter PvP combat, your mana will be lowered by 80%, down to 20% (50k, similar to a DPS character) this is really impactful for any World PvP healers, and should hopefully be fixed soon!

Disconnect Locations:

This one is really annoying and happens a lot with Dragonriding (tbh it happens a lot with any kind of movement/blink/jump ability) it is when you land on certain frames you crash and get stuck. I assume the reason for this is that there are disconnection fields present under the ground that prevents out-of-bounds exploitation... Sadly this is affecting people in the overworld as well!

Broken Queue:

The queue system has been broken on EU for the last few weeks (on Wednesdays). You can't queue up, and even if you are able to, you get thrown out of the queue, given Craven arena deserter debuffs, etc... All around it's really messy and weird that it hasn't been fixed yet.

Broken Warlock Talent:

This is a fun one, the talent Harvester of Souls, that's supposed to make your corruption deal additional damage, is programmed so it hits YOUR current target, not the one that your corruption is present on... This enables you to snipe people from far away with free damage! It also works to interrupt hearthstone casts and most likely flag captures in BGs.

Dismount Taunting:

This bug was active earlier in Dragonflight. The bug made it so you aggroed whoever you were currently targeting when dismounting (while dragonriding someone else) there isn't anything more to it, but it was surely hilarious to troll your friends!

Ability Input Lag:

This is a thing that has become worse lately. It is when you press an ability and it has a delay between 0.2-0.6 seconds before it goes off. It is the exact same delay you feel when you are pressing an ability and it doesn't go off for 2-3 seconds (if you are in an overcrowded WPvP zone, or epic BG) It is annoying because it started to happen more in Arena lately, I assume it is because of so many things that the servers have to calculate so everything has a short delay (it doesn't happen in the starting rooms....)

100k Gold Disappearance:

I traded my friend 100k gold, and it looked like I lost 200k! I thought the game scammed me or I was losing my mind... maybe both are true.

Dwarven Farmer Scaling:

The dwarven farmer NPC in Hillsbrad is starting to scale these days depending on your character level... it is quite odd and might be for a feature? Since a dev went out of the way to buff them... Or it is just an accidental buff that happened as the city NPCs got buffed... interesting

Trade Disconnect:

If your bag is full and someone trades you something, you both crash... Hilarious I first thought it had something to do with voice chat but it doesn't seem to be the case... Hope you all enjoyed the video!

How about the sudden disband of groups/raids mid dungeon, that is a funny one.
(a random fix we found was to turn war mode off, seems to happen only when warmode was turned on or just plain bad luck)

Ran into that issue the other night.  Soon as we down a boss on Vault(N) we automattically got disbanded then kicked out.  During this alot of keys were getting depleted.  My friends on Area 52 had to give another player (different server) Raid lead to form the group to stop the abrupt kick outs.

You can send Primal Chaos to alts on live servers.
Blizzard hotfixed a new item called Satchel of Coalescing Chaos to live servers. The cache costs 80 Primal Chaos and can be sent to alts to gain 60 Primal Chaos. You can buy it from Artisan's Consortium Quartermaster Rabul in Valdrakken.

Primal Chaos is used in Dragonflight to craft epic-quality gear and making it available to alts will definitely help with gearing up your characters.

There is no Catalyst charge catch-up in Dragonflight. If you haven't completed last week's Catalyst quest, you will be only granted 1 charge this week upon completing the weekly.
Many players wondered if they could catch up on Catalyst charges when they did not complete last week's Catalyst quest. Unfortunately, the answer here is no.
Completing the weekly quest will only grant you 1 Catalyst charge this week. However, the good news is all your alts will be given a charge when you complete the weekly quest on your main and all characters on your account can contribute to the weekly quest progress. Every character can accumulate a maximum of 6 charges.
This week, you can pick up the weekly Catalyst quest conveniently at the Great Vault in Valdrakken.

Blizzard have posted some new known issues regarding the Trading Post, after having re-enabled refunds earlier today.
      Known Issues (Source)
There are some issues that have affected the Trading Post and we wanted to provide an update along with where we are at in resolving them.
We are aware of an issue where the completion credit for activities in the Traveler’s Log is occasionally resetting. We are actively working on addressing this issue and expect to have it resolved this week. Some players who complete the Traveler’s Log are not receiving the Ash’adar mount reward immediately in their chest at the Trading Post. We aim to have this resolved this week. Thank you for your patience.

We have a big change to Mythic+ rating gains for +21 keys, Vault improvements, as well as class, quest, PvP changes and some Wrath Classic action as well in today's solid batch of hotfixes!
      February 1 (Source)
Evoker Fixed an issue where some Echoes could occasionally not be consumed by spell casts. Dungeons and Raids
Vault of the Incarnates Fixed an issue preventing players from returning to other areas of the raid when returning to an instance with Broodkeeper Diurna already defeated. Kalecgos now summons a portal that will return players to the raid entrance after Broodkeeper Diurna has been defeated. Mythic+ Completing a Mythic 21 or higher dungeon, but exceeding the target time, now awards Mythic+ Rating as if the dungeon were a Mythic 20. Developers’ note: We award partial Mythic Rating credit for untimed dungeons (up to 40% over the target time) to recognize the skill and effort involved, and to encourage groups to stick together even if it seems like they’re going to fall a bit short of the timer. But at the very high end of the system, we’ve heard feedback that sometimes the surest path to further incremental Rating increases lies in seeking out keys a group may have no hope of clearing within the timer. We don’t want to change the way the system works for the vast majority of players who are working their way towards new Valor upgrade tiers, or cosmetic unlocks, but past the Mythic 20 threshold, there are no further tangible rewards other than the leaderboards and eventual end-of-season competition for the Thundering Hero title. The goal of this change is thus to ensure that the way to climb the leaderboards and earn a title meant for the best Mythic+ players in the world is by successfully completing dungeons within the allotted time, without negatively impacting the majority of players using the system. When this change takes effect, some players who are just barely at 2400 rating, with some of that rating coming from untimed 21+ keys, may drop below 2400 and need to re-earn that Rating in order to continue to upgrade new items to Rank 13. Items and Rewards
Fixed an issue where certain item upgrade previews would display higher item levels than intended. Player versus Player
Druid Feral Fixed an issue that could cause Leader of the Pack to not always apply correctly to the character while in Cat Form. Mage Frost Fixed an issue where Snowdrift would inconsistently be applied on elevated terrain. Quests
Fixed an issue where Benthic gear could not be upgraded preventing the completion of “Create Your Own Strength.” System
Fixed an issue that caused performance decreases when using certain addons.

Wrath of the Lich King Classic
Items and Rewards Stormjewels are now correctly unique-equippable. The Blood of the Old God trinket now has the correct attack power value trigger in its tooltip.

Blizzard have announced that Trading Post items are now once again refundable (in the Americas, so it's unclear if the fix is also in for EU servers, as there has been no blue post there).
      Trading Post (Source)
Update: Any items purchased from the Trading Post in the Americas are now be refundable. Items that were purchased during the non-refundable window can be refunded through the weekend to ensure affected players have the time to login and make any desired changes to their Trading Post purchases.
