wow Twitter Integration Removal from World of Warcraft

Blizzard will remove Twitter integration from World of Warcraft over the next two days.

Blizzard today announced they're removing Twitter integration from the game. The function to tweet from in-game will no longer be available after the update and the change will not require any action by players.

Twitter integration was added to the game in Patch 6.1. Blizzard did not comment on why they decided to remove it.

Over the next two days, we will update World of Warcraft® to remove the integrated Twitter® posting feature. After this small update, the function to Tweet from in-game will no longer be available, and the settings which store your Twitter credentials will no longer appear.

This will not require any action by players.

Twitter announced last week they would begin charging for access to the API tools. I would assume this is why they are removing the integration.

Never used the Twitter functionality ingame. Will not be missed.

Where in my previous comment did I mention anything about that which you write? Musk is a total douche for many reasons, the one you specify is just 1 of them. So you can keep your MAGA tears for yourself, thank you very much.

But Twitter has been losing more money since Musk's dumb decisions. ToS are still there and many people are still getting banned (funnily enough, including some right wingers who praised him). Besides, praising him like some free speech advocate is very dumb. Musk has a history of going after some of his critics (including cancellations of some orders for his cars and going after some bloggers), so he has very fragile ego. Things are so bad that even some of biggest Musk fans are turning on him, this makes remaining people who still praise him look even dumber in comparison.

Also, I think some people here, like this above, are confusing the left with liberals. Political spectrum is more complicated and there are many sides. And "woke" is being used in so many different ways that it basically lost its meaning. Anyway, nothing of value has been lost, I don't even use Twitter myself.

Much like Human biology. It's not as simple as 1 or 0. There are many stages in-between. Funny enough, the Right-wing are the ones most often who have problems comprehending this.
